While it’s not what I’d like (G1 BBM head but with googles) I’d be less ugly him having goggles that boxy nerd glasses.

It is also I love the easter eggs on it of the Mercenary, IDW2.0 Wrecker and Elite Guard symbols.

 

Unironically I’d sell a kidney to buy 1,300 Egg-Jacks, just to make a statement to hasbro with my money. Understand what the people want, Hasbro.

 

Personally for me I'm fine with the nerd glasses. I'd love for him to have the head you want too but it is what it is

Wouldn't mind that. I'm in the minority that actually likes que's head, or as little me so favoring called it, "Einstein dude". His design always struck out to me, and to be honest it's one of my more liked head sculpts.

 

Same! While I think it's ugly, it's not ugly in a "I hate this design" sort of way, it's ugly in a "This design is so bad that it's good" sorta way, definitely better than others in the bayverse too.

 

And the most disappointing figure of the year for me goes to Bayverse Hot Rod.

Good freaking god do I hate this thing so fucking much. I was riding the hype since it was announced. It looks incredible. Hands down the most infuriating transformation of any figure I've handled all year. AGHHHHHHHHHHHH THE BACK PANELS!!!! Those ultra tiny back panels of the car pop out if I so much as LOOK at theme wrong. And while they pop out like crazy, getting them fastened back in is a pain in my ass. I came up with the idea of the moment they pop out once, setting them aside until the transformation is 100% done then pegging them back in because they plop out throughout the transformation. No dice. I got one panel pegged back in but then when I tried to peg the second one back in the first one went flying 50 feet and is now probably gone forever. The windows and doors are also annoying to peg in and even when I get one 100% flush on one side it is all but assured to plop out and come loose while lining up the other. It's one of those transformations where a ton of stuff has to line up just right across the board and the whole car is coming apart while you're trying to do it. Getting everything fastened together without coming apart was doable but miserable and I will never be transforming him again. I was ready to give this guy a 10 out of 10 figure of the year. Instead he gets a 6. Stunning to look at. Absolutely no fun to handle. Can't even bend his knees without flexing the plastic of the wheels out of the way. Onto the shelf he goes to look pretty, never to be touched again. NEXT!

These 2 just arrived

Soundwave is pretty loose and has a stressed joint on his backpack so I decided to simply paint his head properly and rolled with that. Will stay on the shelf now

Bee is pretty good tho, much better than my old ROTF Bee
