With wave 2 revealed, our next Studio Series reveals will be Bayverse!

Using the length of time between the prior reveal and this one, we can estimate that wave 3 could be revealed around early may. That’s not a set date and Hasbro seems determined to not reveal Bayverse SS until it’s already in stores, but that’s a general idea as to when we might hear something.

 

Arcee looks so fricking good! Hope she's amazing in-person!

 

Damn Arcee looks pretty awesome! I love a gem it who doesnt have her whole goddamn alt mode just chillin on her back. She looks like she has some pretty good posability too and she does the bike car thingy way better than chromia has done in the past.

Ironhide is… a red ratchet. Has sort of a weird fire truck red going on though. I hope it’s more flat red IRL.

 

Arcee actually looks pretty good. I might have to get her when I see her in stores or online. I’m still peeved that Hasbro is working diligently to get the G1 Dinobots out, but have done fuck all with the AOE Dinobots in the last four years. That’s some 100% pure with 0% fat grade-A bullshit, in my opinion.

I don’t mean to be a Debbie-downer but I wouldn’t hold your breath. When it comes to Bayverse stuff, lately, I’ve been going by the “it’s better to expect disappointment so you won’t actually be disappointed” mantra.

Besides the face, this Arcee looks phenomenal. Might be the best design the character has ever had (again, besides the face). The ability to give her wheel feet is a really cool touch.

Ironhide heavily falls victim to poor plastic color layout syndrome (a syndrome I am coining right now). The mismatched hips / thighs for one, and the differing grey colors really throw off the look. A handful of SS figures have suffered from this in the past, but it seemed like they were finally moving on from that. Dang.

Let's just hope the next wave of SS figures (which is more Bayverse oriented) get the same level of love and attention in their reveals!

 

Its all G1 and BB movie stuff again.....

Welp this sucks guess the next time ill see new SS stuff is when it reaches to actual shelves in stores.

Oh well it is what it is.



Got SS devy the stand that people suggested me dough in the meantime so he now (hopefully) stays in place.

So I seem to have this habit where everytime I state having no interest in a figure, I end up purchasing said figure at a later date. Yeah that happened today.

That sounds too good to be true but hey you never know.

 

Yea, Arcee is just dope as hell, and that bike is pure sexiness!! She's the one they I'm most excited for!!

Yea, Ironhide is just another Ratchet, but on apl God with that. They're designs give that WFC vibe, so I don't mind the similar appearances.

I do hope that we get more Bayverse figs soon though!! I'm ready to finish my up my SS line collection!!

 

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. I did buy mindset though but I just can't fathom why someone would charge $20 for Sideswipe, Bee and a few others
