No, he will be perfect with them.. especially Ironhide and consorts. Prime was always to small.

So I got B127 the other day and immediately swapped heads with Jeep Bee as well as the arms. Not a bad figure tbh.

Finally took the time to go in-depth on the MPM Bee ball joint mod so here you go!

All in all, it's fairly simple, I used these LEGO pieces, but you can use any ball joint that fits, I used the LEGO ones since they're easy to cut and are very sturdy. If you want to use them here's a link to the pieces:
BrickLink - Part 14418 : LEGO Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Small Tow Ball Socket on End [Plate, Modified] - BrickLink Reference Catalog
BrickLink - Part 2736 : LEGO Technic, Axle 1L with Tow Ball [Technic, Axle] - BrickLink Reference Catalog

Alright so getting to the mod! First things first, you'll need to disassemble the head so you get access to the neck joint, it's attached with a pin so you have 2 ways to go around it. 1- Cut the joint to get access to the pin and then pull the pin out (which is what i did) or 2- Heat the pin a little bit with a soldering iron and then pulling it out (a bit riskier).

Once that's done you'll want to cut the ball around here:

You want to get it as close to the hood as possible so he doesn't have a huge neck, take mine as a reference:

Next to the other part of the joint, this is roughly what you'll need to cut, I recommend just cutting the joint from the rest of the piece and test fitting it to the head and cutting until it fits:

And this is how it should look on the head, cool thing is you don't have to glue anything here the screw keeps everything in place just fine:

And that's basically it! Your Bee should have a ball joint now, hope this helps and it was clear enough, if you have any questions feel free to PM me so we don't flood this thread with replies to this. Also since you guys asked for this breakdown I'm tagging you to make sure you see it :p  @erwinsims @Lockon Prime

Awesome to know. Hope this motivates ko companies to do sloght upscales and improvements. If they sell a slightly improved Ironhide it will be $$$. Hope they realize this and make more stuff. Wishlist:. Sentinel Prime, Ratchet, Bonecrusher, DOTM Megatron, Shockwave

Yeah that’s way too much. I don’t think the constructicons need them that bad. Stick with the wreckers sets dude.
I’ll post a pic tonight. All my recent pics are in bright lighting conditions which doesn’t show off the LEDs much.
Same as others. Just a few weird QC issues but overall fine.

Aw thanks man, I'd definitely recommend it! It's pretty simple and adds tons of personality to Bee. I'm sure a guy like you would love that extra poseability

Aaah, so you removed the entire neck structure. This is just pure awesomeness my man!! Thank you very much for sharing this info!!

Not only does this giver him more character, but it'll also make his fit through SUPER limited space A LOT better during transformation!! I'll definitely be doing this mod!! Many thanks!! :)
    Sounds good. Many thanks bro!!
I'm glad that it's nothing too bad!! I hope the one that's on its way now is as good as my first 2!!

Yeah definitely seems worth the effort I’m just feeling lazy these days heh. I’m actually hoping someone can do an even better MPM-scaled camaro bee someday. None of the KOs have actually modded the base mold AFAIK. Better head articulation and better feet would be at the top of my list, as well as a more compact chest.
