I don't think they will. They said they still have a lot of stuff to do for the movies, and they used TLK as an example.

 

A couple interesting things from today's Q&A:

First off, Arcee is a part of deluxe wave 2 (along with the yet-to-be-revealed BB Ironhide), and is mentioned as being due in May 2022. From that, we can estimate that DOTM Bumblebee and ROTF Sideways will be due in late summer/fall 2022.

Not much, but it's kinda nice to hear them acknowledge that there will be more Bayverse figures in the future, specifically citing TLK.

That first sentence of the response really has me intrigued. Being in the movie in at least one form could open up a lot of things - Ospreys are super prevalent in the movies (Springer), there are F-35s in TLK (Breakaway), and there are tanks in ROTF (Warpath?)

A mid-air diplay with a bunch of flight stands having Starscream with a bunch of Ospreys would be SO cool!


Referring to the second part of that last response, how could we show support for concept characters in a way that Hasbro would notice?

There was a small petition on a Star Wars fan site for a TVC General Merrick's X-Wing that Hasbro actually picked up on, so maybe something like that?

I actually hadn’t seen the Q&A stuff because that was added last after the article was posted and subsequently updated. So I’ll have to retract my statement made earlier in this thread. Some interesting answers. Makes it even more confusing as to why a certain member is trying so hard to spell doom and gloom for Bayformers on the main news thread.

Incinerator would definitely be cool, but I think Springer would be the more likely since he has concept art for ROTF and was nearly in the movie

A thought that occurred to me though, we see quadrotor Ospreys in DOTM (which aren't a thing IRL but definitely look cool), and I think Incinerator could work for one of them, even if he was originally a standard Osprey.

BB arcee looks nice tho, Much better than the ER mold g1 arcee had. Happy they’ve done the Cybertron (not that Cybertron) characters justice.

 

Best looking G1 Arcee it's not even funny how much better she is than ER Arcee. I'm in for pretty much all the BBM Cybertron characters minus Core Shockwave since he obviously doesn't scale with the others.

Yup and while even though I grew up with the first 3 bay films and don't really buy SS figures much (not against SS in any way but just not all the designs interest me). I'm definitely gonna get Breakaway and help cause even if I didn't get any of the concept characters it's still cool to see them get done. Also, I need Warpath to be a thing.

If I remember correctly it's Breakaway first then IF he does well a DOTM Leader Warpath is possible to happen then probably Longarm and Stratosphere (who was also talked about possibly happening by leakers).

Even though I don't use the backdrops most of the time, it's a pleasure to still get them with the figures. After all, it makes Studio Series feel unique!
