    Cool thanks.
SMH. Are there any copies that DON'T break?
I still can't shake the idea of seeing "ketchup and mustard" when I see these two.
That BBM OP looks pretty nice. I haven't even heard of this project before!

But what do WFC figures have to do with studio series or movieverse?

I honestly am not sure (5am wishful thinking lol), although i can see how they might rationalize that "studio series" should not be limited to just movies but to the games as well.

As for the Prime, they are saying that this was the protoype that was shown last year under a different brand. All i know is that it is awesome! I really like BT's Shockwave, but how does everyone feel about the alt mode accuracy? It is likely he will officially turn to a tank and not a space gun. Will people care or just wait?

How big is the 2007 deluxe Scorponok next to Studio Series figures?

Bonus question: how about the Hide Shadow Scorponok if you have him?

The hide shadow Scorpinook is Tiny, like 5-6 cm's (around 2 inch) the old deluxe looks way more accurate and is about the size of Optimus (only wider)

9F94528E-D137-486A-BDA9-EC82AB26EA67.jpeg Got ROTF Bumblebee yesterday. Am I stupid, or is it impossible to get the door tabbed in? I have the 2007 version and I have no issue, but this is downright impossible.

For me it's the opposite; my 2007 Bee had that issue while my ROTF one everything tabs together.

Are the feet pushed as close together as possible? it looks like one of them is rather far from the middle.

I heard you guys have been wanting a Movie Warpath, well I have one! Introducing Toyworld’s Wardog.

Want your own? Well I’ve got some bad news about that. To my knowledge, Toyworld’s Wardog was meant to be an exclusive to a chinese convention, in China, sometime around Q4 of 2019. When Covid happened though, said convention was delayed, and the figure never saw release.

I was able to obtain one because a seller on AliExpress who specializes in Toyworld products, happened to get some in hand. How this happened I have no idea, but I have two theories.

    1. The seller simply was able to get ahold of some small stock(I bought the last one, another member here bought another.)

    2. The figure might see a “full” release like the other Bulldog repaints, and this was just a first batch trickling out.

Option 2 makes more sense, but a part of me still believes Option 1. That said, other then the “main” figures in this line US-based retailers pick up, it’s hard to get these figures period. Some might show up one day, might not. Until then I’m considering it an unreleased figure.

Also, to repost my collection yet again. The “main” FS-Series figures you see at major retailers like TCP and ShowZ are not all that is in the line. Bumblebee and Bulldog have been repaint multiple times.

So my first ever full-body repaint of a figure went both very well and very badly. Well because he looks great! Badly because paint is already starting to chip off everywhere despite me using a clear coat for protection. Any suggestions?

Had you ever applied any kind of Hobby-use Primer Surfacer on the parts before starting the paintjob?

Primer Surfacer is ideal for ensuring better adhesion of paint to the surface, increases paint durability, and provides additional protection for the material being painted.

Not only that, I would suggest avoiding hand-painting large areas if you're hand-painting; Instead, it'll be better to slowly apply thin paint layers, leave some time for the thin layer to fully dry between coats, then repeat that until a smooth and consistent finish was achieved (Rather than painting one thick paint layer immediately at one time). It's more time-consuming, but a worthy trade-off in the flavor of a nicer-looking custom that would stand the test of time much better in the long run IMO.

In addition to what yellow said try sanding the parts that are chipping off the most with a fine sand paper, it will let the primer and paint to set in more

Thanks for the tips guys. No I didn’t use any primer cause I’m dumb. I just did two coats of spray paint and then a clear coat. I was using tamiya spray. I’m really happy with the color but upset about the quality. When I use regular krylon or whatever brand I don’t have these issues, especially with a clear coat for protection.
