At my kit, both arms fold quite nicely at 90°... but anyway, in my opinion, too much articulation is not necessary for DOTM Shockwave, given its massive structure, it does not need excessive positions to express its power; for example, I like to simply keep him upright, bending his elbow and knee joints just a little, to give him more realism! After all, he was like that in the film... he moved little and hit hard!

Bbbts has Masterpiece barricade for $50. How is that figure? Worth it? I currently have mpm Megatron, star Scream, Jazz and the most recent Bumblebee.

    Most definitely worth it!
Funny, I just had my MPM Barricade off the shelf last night as my TV fiddle' figure. :)

    Forgot how cool he is.

    Definite purchase.

Absolutely worth that amount of money. One of the least criticized and most lauded MPMs.
    I like that idea! Haha

So in regards to the newer version of SS Sideswipe....

Regardless of how you have him transformed, do you find his front wheels tough to spin freely?

I'm wondering if the pin used to hold the whole foot assembly together might be punched too tight?

    Anyone else notice this too?

Might try to heat up the pin and pull on it a smidge to loosen things up.

It's not the pin, it's the protruding tab that forms some kind of a heel (I guess?) that sticks down. Lifts the car up and prevents rolling. I don't know if the original DOTM Sideswipe had the same problem or not. It's been so long since I transformed him I can't tell you.

Totally agree. I actually took my RotF Soundwave's head and put it on TFP Soundwave's body. It fit nicely but the crown prevented full transformation into alt mode. But it definitely suited him. I also think RotF Mindwipe would have made a good Soundwave.

So I wasnt really referring to it hitting the ground and clearance type stuff ....I mean, if you take the figure in your hand, and try and spin the wheel with your finger, do you find that it's pretty stiff and doesnt really spin?

As compared to the rear wheels which spin as expected.

Wondering what's causing this overall tightness.
