This is also true ಠ_ಠ
Yes, based on trade show images of the Chevy Volt concept car that was used for Jolt:
You can also see a small intake in the middle which is also present on the SS figure, I painted this dark silver.
There are also indents on the car rear meant to represent those red lights, I haven't painted them yet but am leaning towards yes, I believe @Jhund did. I'm not sure if I should paint the license plate area or not.
Still haven't decided if I'm going to make the roof solid black.
I also recommend if possible taking a panel liner to the lower part of the grille, because on the toy everything is painted straight silver and the lower grille actually has more detail:
Ohhh you guys, look what I found on eBay!
XD I don't care what size this is, I WILL fit into it. Haha
Happy bday @Sayan Rahman! Hope that you have an amazing day ahead of you brother!!
I’ve just moved into a new place, and that means rebuilding my shelves. Movie is up first, but man am I pooped.
Yea, I thought abt swapping the hands as well, but that was an obvious no go lol. I fig'd the easiest way would be to cut and rotate the whips.
“Oh no, it’s an infestation!”
That time Bumblebee jumped on Megatron's back.
Appreciate you remembering a ridiculous amount, thank you so much bro! I officially hit the big 20
Satan's camaro. In my yard. It's stalking me!!
Very beautiful! With all those details in evidence, it looks like an "official masterpiece"!
Thanks for the info! I'll paint the back now. I did the license plate in white which is what I usually do for all SS figures. Maybe I'll try and add some numbers at some point. Usually I do NCC-1701
Dude that's probably a child's medium... Good luck
Oh and Happy Birthday @Sayan Rahman my dude!!!!
XD Yes! But what's weird is that the measurements didn't seem so bad on the description. So I put in an offer and if I don't fit into it...well I have a new fabric poster. Haha
I'm 5 feet tall and 100 lbs, so I'm banking on sucking in my gut and hoping for the best! XD
Alright, I think I'm calling it a day on Jolt touch ups! Now all that's left to do is @Shmoptimus Prime 's whip mod.
Probably won't be transforming him back to vehicle mode for a while...
EDIT: That was easy! Thanks again for the guide, Shmop! Decided not to go quite as curved as you did but it at least looks like a whip now!
Thank you for the tips @Shadow25 and @Shmoptimus Prime !

Also, Tatoo MPM Starscrram is on sale at showz for $75
There are all kinds of magic involving him, ain't it? (as us Ohioans would say...)
Where's the guide for the whips?? I can't find it. I checked here and his Insta and all I saw was his last upload (according to the page) of him applying floor polish to Jolt's joints. (And no, it's not a caching error since I've never been to his Insta before. I rarely ever go on the site at all. I think once every 6 months, actually. lol)
Hi, do you guys have any idea if theres a difference between the authentic and ko studio series optimus 38? I bought one off mercari and dont wanna rate the guy until I know it’s authentic
Studio series 38 Optimus doesn’t have a 1:1 KO. Only a 9” oversized one. Only the ROTF and BB primes have KO’s that are almost identical. Edit: mixed up the SS numbers.
SS BB prime’s KO can be identified by his chest being diecast. That’s the easiest way to tell it’s a KO. So it’ll be cold metal if it’s the KO.
Separate names with a comma.
