My reaction as I read through the list;

Yeah, the conehead and the Blitzwing head for me makes Thrust look better than Starscream as well.

 

I'm surprised @Megatron118 is not all over this rumor just yet.

 

The rumor did make me happy about the Fallen not pointlessly being put in as a commander class. Fingers crossed for my boy Devcon….. (even though I highly doubt it)

Hoping that unlike the old Fallen, this new one can do more than be a display that loves (ehem) falling all the time. Especially glad to see Sideways on the list too. Any chances he’d be the Audi or at least come in his accurate color scheme?

 

They probably wanted to get the Bumblebee movie out of the way, so they can move on to Rise Of The Beasts in 2023. The only ones left are the rest of the Seekers and Shockwave as a Voyager.

He did say later on, that Galvatron was on the table

 

Not to mention, it'll be nice to see even more variety next year. Prime, Knightverse, G1, Bayformer, Beast Wars, and Beast Machines. That's got to be the most diverse lineup of Transformers that we've seen in years.

 

What I find a bit strange is that it doesn't mention any Rise of the Beasts Characters, though it could change as time goes by.

Maybe not till beginning of 2023. I don't mind if Studio Series in 2023 has a lot of Rise of the Beast characters, I would like them to at least squeeze in a few classic characters like Que, Hatchet, Mohawk or Onslaught.

Chances are slim that he'll actually be an Audi, but SS has been pretty good about paint accuracy at least.

 

Well, lots of exciting updates for us movie fans today.

A lot of you have already shared similar thoughts to mine on all the leaks so I won't repeat them all but it is really great to see more Bayverse characters filling up slots for next year.

For context, in 2021 we had 8 live action movie characters (5 bayverse) out of a total of 19 (that's if you're including ROTF Sideswipe and 1986 Sweep that got sighted at retail).

Granted, some things may change, but, based off the leaks today, there are 26 total characters coming out in Studio Series in 2022. 16 of those are live action characters. Of those 16, 7 are Bayverse bots spread across movies 2 - 5.

I'm indifferent to 1986 being included in Studio Series but I'll just say that 2022 will feel kind of refreshing after the year we've had.

I love that you make lists like this because I do the exact same thing! I just updated my excel sheet tonight and I'd say your list of remaining characters is spot on.

Sort of surreal to think that if these 2022 leaks pan out we will have 6 characters left from the original trilogy. End of an era for many of us I'm sure

I still can't believe I started collecting movie toys last year with the expectation of "I'll just get the characters I like" to "I just need a handful more and I'll have the entire NAMED cast from movies 1-4. I am perfectly content with omitting a lot of the filler from TLK (including the knights)

 

Ha. I still remember when I only wanted to get Ratchet, Stinger, Lockdown, and Jazz and get out immediately after those four  

 

Not to mention we may be getting characters that a lot of us have been wanting for a while now. I’m most excited to see Hot Rod and Sideways

 

Every single one of who started with that mindset:

"Oh boy lemme check how much money I have before i buy another figure"-
