No abs? no problem...

 

Finally got my new LT Bee! This one stands so much better than my original KO. Honestly, great balance. When I got that original KO Bee, he straight up wouldn’t stand until I fixed up his joints. His paint on the head also started getting scratched off. Majority of the joints on this new guy are perfect. I made sure to switch their chests and rear so that the new one actually had the Chevy logos. Overall really happy with this purchase

 

Not that I'm being nosy, I just want to know. Does everything think all my ideas are getting boring? Feel like I am losing my touch on all my picture.

 

Despite being a lover of the SS Hot Rod mold, I would like to say that if you got these because of any interest in WWII, Toyworld’s Hornets are amazing. I have all of them with the exception of the 2 blue and a grey versions.



The line IMO started off really slow, but is an absolute banger. So amazing great version of Bee and Bulldog in amazing colorschemes with professional weathering and details, and we have Hot Rod and Jetfire on the way.


As for Barricade and the Seekers. Barricade is okay, IMO, but the Seeker mold is my figure of the year.

 

Their WW 2 line is amazing yeah, been watching it since day 1. Unfortunately I focus more on other things atm so their WW2 line is too pricy for me to get into on the side as just a “hey that’s a WW2 transformer”.

 

I suppose thats understandable, but my main appeal in the figures at this point is the painting, sculpting, and engineering, the choice of alternate mode is just icing on the cake.

No not really, you certainly have been consistent with posting pics in this thread at least.

I can't even come up with ideas for pics lately (because I'm missing the toys necessary).

 

I will say, I’m considering bulldog. He seems a bit more worth pursuing than the others for me atm.

 

So funnily enough I don’t have the standard Bulldog, but I have almost every other version.

The engineering on the figure isn’t super complex, and the articulation is a little wonky, but the painting details more then make up for it. If you like pictures, I can provide some later.

 

Speaking of WWII figures, has Jetfire been reviewed or released yet? I remember seeing the pics when they announced him but that's it

 

Jetfire has not yet seen a release. This year they released:

Cliffjumper and Beige Bumblebee around February

Skywarp, Thundercracker, and Redwing around April

And Barricade around March.


Hot Rod(who is next up) was supposed to be released during the summer alongside Jetfire, but both seem to be pushed back. Considering they released 6 figures over the span of 2 or so months, I kinda figured they would get pushed back to Winter. Also, it’s Toyworld so they are always a little slow.

Think I’m about done with the base coat on Grindor, went with a lighter gray for the alt mode parts and a darker gunmetal for the core robot parts, kind of like the original ROTF voyager. The lighter gray is also more accurate to the CH-53 I’ve seen in person. Missing a lot of detail work (and several parts, I haven’t fully reassembled him yet), but so far I’m pretty happy with it.
