Nah, it wasn't the heli that made me of Whirl, it was the shape of the head. I've honestly always hated this mold for both Whirl and Springer.. especially Springer!!

However, the SpinAround Kit for that mold is perfect to make it the perfect IDW Whirl.

 

It's the movies, so anything is possible I guess. I like the idea that Mirage's normal vehicle mode isn't discrete so he's a Porsche, but maybe he becomes his signature race car mode at the end of the movie?

 

Yea, I definitely agree that using a Ligier JS11 Ford Formula One racer for the alt mode wouldn't be the smartest thing to do. But why not just use another type of car? But oh well

The Devy kit is finally enroute to me after I let it sit in my BBTS Pile of Loot for way too long! Excited to open it.

Are the wings that attach to Scavenger basically stuck there? It doesn't seem like they're meant to be removed and replaced too often...

Did you get the Mixmaster connection to work? I couldn't.

Man, I'd love to have those weapons for Stinger, but they cost waaay too much.

 

It's a fun kit! I'm loving devastator now. The wings aren't hard to remove, although I don't recommend taking them on and off a lot since the connector does have to bend to attach. Only complaint I have with the kit is that the new connector for mixmaster is next to useless. They could have figured out something much more clever and useful.
