Well I’ll wait for my KO Hightower to arrive. If he matches up quality wise with Hasbro I’ll just buy up KO long haul and scrap metal to finish devy. If he doesn’t match up, guess I’ll try to sell what I have and get the box set. I just like the darker silver on the non box set version for all the bots.

 

I have a KO Longhaul. You literally cannot tell the difference. I want to get more of the KO Constructicons.

I think he’s at least considered from what I remember.

I don’t know why we’re getting reissues of toys that don’t need them (WWII Bee and Car Shatter) rather than the ones that do (Long Haul, Ironhide). I was lucky enough to get into the Devastator game early enough to get all of them at retail, but some people having missing combiner pieces is something that sucks. I mean, I was sitting around with 2/5ths of a CW Bruticus for a while. Just not having the missing piece really sucks.

 

Probably to encourage people to buy the set. It’s still available after all.

 

You guys mind if I do a bit of a customs showcase? I have been doing a lot of Movie customs over the past six months, and while some are still WIP, I wanted to share them. Something I don’t often do.




07’ Hound(WIP) and Slingshot



Dragstrip and what was supposed to be a WWII desert camo Megatron. Since he looks more skeletal the desert themed, I didn’t add any Iron Crosses and the project is in limbo.



-A custom seeker “Steelslinger.” Meant to be like a knight. Didn’t like how he turned out, subject to “recycling”.


-Inferno. A massive scratch build that required heavy re-engineering of base mold. Still not done. Has completely original head, new hands, and legs.

-Breakdown started out as G1 colors “Cobalt Mirage”. Ended up looking more like Breakdown to me so thats who he is now.


-Sandshrike. My first attempt at desert camo. Has a new head but still WIP in robot mode.


Ruin. Has a lot of kitbashing. Mad max style jet with a sadistic personality. Will be painted matte black with red and grey accents.


Slingshot with his newly built head and chest. It took… a lot of work to get it all to fit in robot mode. Months of work… Artic camo looks great tho.
