No, it was like that already.

4 hours of hell later, truck. This is the side that looks almost right. The other side is an exploded mess of panels that refuse to stay tabbed in. I am never transforming this to truck mode again, it's an absolute nightmare.

 

Seeing SS Blackout brings back memories of the early days of SS... I was expecting to only get a few that really needed the upgrade.

Is this going to be THE Prime for you, or are you looking forward to another version?

Aah yes, the early days! I got SS05, and told myself that that was going to be the only one I'd get. But it was a lie. It was all filthy lie.  

Honestly, I was fine with just Prime, but then I started seeing everyone's pics in the thread, and I just couldn't help but to want them all lol.

Was that just me, or has that happened to anyone else?

 

When Studio Series started showing up on shelves here, I told myself that a) I was only gonna get the figures/characters that I really wanted, and b) that I wasn't gonna have any duplicates of any characters. I had TLK Optimus, Megatron and Bumblebee, so I wasn't gonna bother with the Studio Series figures

Now here I am, three years later, with 36 Studio Series figures, four Optimi, four Megatrons and a Galvatron, and several Bumblebees and Starscreams

Peoples' photos in this thread definitely pushed me to buy certain figures, so it's definitely a source of enablement  

 

The irony is that is what people were saying when the WFC/FOC Bee toy on the left came out back in the day.

The early days, when we're not sure how long SS would last, or what characters they'd make.
Then suddenly they announced Devastator and it seemed like sky is the limit!
Its also the line that made me try to track down every wave. "build the cast" indeed!
While my collection still has holes this is the deepest I've been in any transformers line.

 

I used to collect only Optimus and Megatron figures. Then the Sentinel Prime wave came and I REALLY wanted to have some form of an autobot and decepticon team from some continuity, so I chose SS. I got REALLY lucky with SS Ironhide. Got him for like $24 including shipping. Prolly wouldn't have collected if i never got him for such a good deal.
Now I have like 39 figures for just the movieverse collection collected less than a year.

 

Now I'm curious to see the other side haha!

Oh man SAME! I also expected that the line would fizzle out after 3 waves like the aoe and tlk lines had. I assumed they'd just be releasing some of the coolest figures towards the end of the 8 month run and they'd be really hard to get and then that would be it. Can't believe it's been 3 freaking years and we have dudes like Dino, Sentinel Prime and DEVASTATOR!

 

The latest wave finally came here in manila!


Can't wait to have/see the SS72 recolors, I wanna display them all in jet mode.

It would’ve been great if Stinger’s arm blade could be detached more easily. As long as the figure can still transform without partsforming, I’m okay with it.

I’m trying to look for Dino and B-127 in my area, since my preorders on Target are backordered and I only see that Starscream on shelves.

I’m hoping I didn’t miss the two.
