Why didn’t ss32 as tall as the voyager AOE evasion prime?

Oop, that was where I was going to get most of them! Though any and all toy purchases need to wait until summer so I can save up for my move.

Like I always say, it's better to pay a more expensive aftermarket price for a figure(s) you really wanted, later in life (either a few months later or a year later) when you have the means to afford it (financially, emotionally, space wise) than to buy it now for a cheaper price when you currently can't justify it among other more important adult priorities. That's what I call toys being "Relatively Affordable" ;)  and if you ultimately are never able get that figure for a decent price, remember that life goes on with or without that extra toy, and you can always enjoy watching other people in the movieverse thread show off their toys!

Good on ya citizen for being a responsible toy collector!

Todays deskbots. Bee is fiddly, but can't argue with those results.

Got SS Dino recently, he's such a fun figure! :D
Can't believe after literally a decade, we finally got an official Dino figure (that's not a repaint/remold)....

So things seem to be looking up for us Bayverse fans! In the pipeline seems to be:

    Leaked listings:
    - ROTF Sideswipe
    - ROTF Jolt
    - ROTF Grindor

Heavily rumored (as in, mentioned by more than one source) :
    - AOE High Octane Bumblebee
    - AOE Evasion Optimus Prime
    - DOTM Hatchet (also mentioned in Dino's bio)
    - ROTF Sideways
    - AOE Hound
    - AOE Crosshairs
    - AOE Trax Drone
    - TLK Megatron
    - ROTF The Fallen

    Rumored:
    - DOTM Bumblebee
    - DOTM Que
    - Breakaway (considered)

This really covers most of the major cast. The biggest missing pieces after this will be the Dinobots, who will most likely be taking Leader Class spots that seem to be filled up for the next year or so anyway. After that, there's only a handful left - Hot Rod, Galvatron, AOE Bumblebee, maybe a new Knight Optimus... things are looking good!

Of course, it may take 3-4 years to get through these all, with 86, Bumblebee, and 2022 movie taking up spots as well. It makes total sense if the 2022 movie cast makes up a lot of that year's Studio Series assortment.

Hard to believe that the major cast will all have Studio Series representations in the next few years.

It will be a long wait to get all of these, between SS-86 and the 2022 movie taking up some spots but it's still super encouraging to know that most of these bots are happening. We just have to be patient.

And frankly, I'm glad for that. I'm not sure where my collecting habits will go once I have the main cast from the original trilogy so if this can be dragged out over a few years and I get to stay more plugged into the fandom because of that, I'm all for it.

Thanks! And yeah I’m pretty much obsessed. I do like the color scheme of the official but the KO can definitely hold poses better and the lack of a visible butt flap is a big plus. Heres another!

    Awesome poses!

This is actually the tightrope I'm walking right now. In all honesty I was done after the TLK toyline, but Studio Series was so impressive that I just had to dive in. But I've been saying for a while now that Studio Series, TF1 MPMs, and the occasional G1 Generations figure (that really wows me compared to a previous version) is really it for me. Once Bayverse Studio Series ends, I'm hoping off.

So initially I was very dismayed to learn that SS86 and the upcoming movie would be pushing out the amount of time it would take to finish off the core Bay cast. If those were not in the mix, we could likely be finished by the end of 2022 at the absolute latest, and possibly even earlier. So I was a bit annoyed at the prospect of having to keep at it for possible 3-4 more years.

But you're right - it does help me stay consistently engaged and active here. I will always be a big Transformers fan even if I'm not actively spending $$$ on it (still plenty of media to consume!) - but I'm not sure what my engagement would look like if the collecting aspect was no more for me.

I wasn't going to get the rest of the MT bots save for Long Haul, but man Scrapmetal looks really good and scales really well too!

As much as I love SS 44, he is just too small in both modes so I just use evasion for robot mode and takara's Revenge Prime for alt mode
