Speaking of that kit, and not just yours, but everyone's opinion thus far?
I have to be honest, I felt no desire to buy it.
Honestly, SS86 kind of ruined SS proper for me. (Plus I'm burnt out on movies.)

...but I love some of the SS figures so much. SS-44 Optimus with the kit? Yes, pls. Jetfire? Same. Heck, I even really enjoy DOTM Megatron...hollowness and all, but I'm just...left cold. Heck, I couldn't even get my Prime figures put on display. Just don't feel a desire. =\

 

Damn you. You're actually making me consider buying this kit now.

 

It's a good kit but doesn't really help the individual constructions. In short, if you like your Devastator combined then get it if not then don't.

 

I think that you should go for it. The new jetwing really does improve the Primes look!!

I’ve been saying for years that the Arcees should have been on the road trip instead of the twins. Adding sideswipe wouldn’t have been a bad idea either. Give the new characters some room to breathe and, y’know, become real characters that we cared about.

That’s what I was trying to say, although I hope we get him just for all the B-boy fans.

TBH that’s barely a movieverse design. It’s very G1 compared to movieverse.

Haha that’s what happened to me! Wasn’t interested thinking what we got plus custom paint was good enough then saw some pics that changed my mind.

Hmm well. I admit nostalgia fuels my SS purchases, recreate movie scenes I loved when I was a kid.
But I also love the visual design; they're my all time favorite aesthetic in TF, I think theyre really cool, and when I consider buying figures which characters I don't know about much coolness is definitely a factor!
