I got SS 2007 Bumblebee and CYB Deluxe Soundwave tonight. And holy shit, Bumblebee a work of art! I despised the TLK mold with every inch of my being, and was worried that this Bumblebee would follow suit and be equally terrible. I can happily say, he's either my favorite or second favorite SS Deluxe.



And what better way to celebrate my latest purchases then a all new limited series.

Well I'm glad for all the Dino fans who are finally getting the figure they've been waiting for SS to cover. One day AoE Bumblebee one day.

Joking aside I am also really excited to get this one in hand. I'll definitely drop whatever I'm doing to look for him when he hits shelves.

I follow this line of thought to also explain why they looked a lot more "human" in Aoe and Tlk. They've been in the earth culture for years now, and as beings who can change their entire appearance at will, it makes sense that Transformers would adopt just about everything around them over time when brought into a new setting. For example, Drift is a Cybertronian sword master with a deep set sense of respect and duty, so he comes to earth and looks at a samurai and goes "damn that's cool," so he just adopts the look

I had the thought occur to me that maybe Hasbro could do DOTM Bumblebee as a voyager in a style similar to 86 Hot Rod. Deluxe bot with a bunch of accessories(shoulder missiles, battle blade/axe, remolded arm cannon to fit blast effects, a few blast effects for his cannon) and much better paint, whilst being a small remold of SS49 mold. Maybe include Frenzy and release a DOTM barricade in the accompanying deluxe assortment that would come out at the same time with a bit more paint like a white spoiler, and a gun instead of a wee whacker. I don't know why I thought this but it would be a dream.

Not really interested in a Barricade reissue I’d rather have a TLK Barricade or give the slot to someone else but I’d be down for a Voyager DoTM Bee with stealth force parts that would be cool to play with

 

I'd rather have a new Barricade mold that fixed the issues of the first one (pins and ball joints on clear plastic, proportions totally off, the head being incorrectly painted, etc...) and maybe include a Frenzy instead of the weapon

 

Yeah I somehow lost his wings years ago unfortunately.

 

Now I'm waiting for a ROTF/DOTM Ironhide.

Want to know a little more details. What did they say about the future of Studio Series Que?

 

He's coming next year as it stands right now and is on track to keep the licensing for his altmode.

He would have the Chicago battle background more than likely.

Be aware that if wheeljack appears In the new movie his order could be shuffled in favor of a fresh character attempt.

I'm not opposed to this idea. It could help freshen the pot for a necessary release. Maybe include some extra DOTM accessories like the Pillar he destroys, or maybe even a way to mimic his Stealth Force mode.

In terms of the actual remolding, his legs and arms can stay the same (although they need to add a spoiler), but I hope they put in the work to make his chest accurate. That was quite a bit different than the TF1/ROTF appearances.
