Just finished painting up Stinger! I'm ultimately really glad I didn't skip on this figure. The torso transformation is really clever, and while there are some accuracy issues overall I quite enjoy it. The gloss dark red definitely helps, though!

I feel as if i haven’t been very appreciative lately and been asking for too many characters to be made. so here enjoy some pics of my ss (and tlk) collections. i doubt anyone from hasbro will ever see this but thank you for bringing back my interest in transformers with studio series. instead of nagging that we don’t have a certain character lets enjoy our collections. my favorite shelf of mine is the 07, ROTF and DOTM Autobots with some MegaBloks COD Figures.

I think it's fair to say that Studio Series did a lot to reinvigorate a lot of love for the movie bots and thus increased some traffic to this thread but out of curiosity I did some digging.

SS was officially revealed and had a U.S. release around February 2018. For context that was when this thread had only 450 pages (give or take).

Granted, it's been almost 3 years since then so we'd obviously expect the thread to grow but I think we can all agree that this community changed dramatically when SS was released.

And with that means a lot of discussion and a lot of yearning for the new hotness. SS is the pinnacle of the mainline movie transformers so it makes perfect sense that people are clamoring for reveals and are so invested in what figures get made next. The addition of G1 figures was a major blow to a lot of us live action movie fans and it's hard not to be a little bitter. But I have to agree with the sentiment that the pages and pages of complaining and lamenting the lack of reveals or the lists and lists of characters that have to be done next gets old real quick.

So, with all of that said, I still believe this is the best community on the boards right now and I still enjoy coming to this thread but I think we need to get some of the energy back which is why I want to offer up a challenge.

Find your most articulated movie figure and create the most dynamic pose you can.

    Got it? Great!

Now find your least articulated movie figure and try to recreate that same pose.

    Here's my example:
    20201205_215023.jpg

    And the recreation:
    20201205_215224.jpg
Gotta hand it to legends Roadbuster, those tiny little knee joints do wonders.

Excited to see what ya'll come up with. Cheers everyone!

This sounds like a fun challenge! I'll probably do one in the morning.

Yes that sounds interesting, I haven't even considered which of my movie toys had the most articulation compared to the others.

That Dino/Mirage looks stunning by the way.

I'm in love... With these pics.

    Thanks!

I also have a good idea for the most/least articulated picture, I’ll try to do it tomorrow
