Man, the ones you started with were really mediocre.
I don't have him. I'm thinking about getting him soon.

Yeah, I found that out the hard way.

Mediocre doesn't even begin to describe Hotrod. My fiery hatred for that figure is unmatched.
Yeah, He's on my Christmas list.

    I highly recommend SS-52 Arcee/Chromia/Elita-1 & SS-53 Mixmaster. 16050584563871387219909.jpg
Don't have any other Studio Series, but I am looking! Kind of like you in a way. :lol

If you can live with the jet mode then yeah he's a great purchase.
Of course you'll need Offroad Bee to pair with him. Fortunately Offroad Bee is also really, really good.
I like Sentinel Prime a lot, although he only comes with his sword and I've heard there is an issue with his waist not tabbing securely (my copy isn't affected by this though)
The constructicons are also pretty good, they do a great job replicating the weird designs.
Blackout is also very impressive, with a huge helicopter alt mode. Only negative are the weird hands.
Leadfoot is a fun deluxe although he has issues with keeping his weapons on. The missile pods on mine in particular are a pain in robot mode.

Thanks! What do you mean about Blitzwing, is something wrong with his Jetmode?

I think a lot of people didn't have his waist locked in all the way, which was why we were getting reports of that. My copy is fine.

Also, the DNA upgrade kit rectifies the lack of weaponry!

Don't tell anyone but... I don't give a shit about the film accuracy.

He is a realistic styled plane that works in both modes, good enough for me. Thank you.

That's probably a good idea, yeah. We, as a fandom, do have a tendency to overhype and get disappointed :p

Out of the entire SS wave 10 lineup, I would say that SS Blitzwing is by far the best of the bunch as a standalone figure.

The robot mode for this figure is just excellent (And the biggest highlight of this figure), with great sculpting and just enough paint all around the figure. The accessories are also very nice, and the fact that both hands are just pegged into the forearms via 5mm ports does add a few extra options when it comes to playing (If you have just a bunch of 5mm compatible accessories lying around)

The Jet-mode..... it's hard to deny that proportion-wise it does look a bit strange, but I also don't think that SS BB Blitzwing's jet mode is that bad and it does its job; It's definitely not the worst looking jet mode I've ever seen on any Transformers toys ever, that's for sure.

Another one I would recommend would be SS-54 Megatron. Well-sculpted, hefty build, good size for a Voyager, unique transformation, finished up with a nice silver deco... With the only let down being the lame weapon.

I can second 2007 Megatron, if you don't have any bayverse Studio Series, SS-54 Megatron is a cool figure to have. It's basically dipped in silver paint, and the jet mode is pretty sizable.

Blitzwing/SS Not SS is a fun figure also.

No, Pixelmaster said this image is real.

These images, which are obviously edited recolors of Blackout (you can tell by the copter blades in the second one), are fake and come from a completely unreliable source.

Since I got my Takara DA-12 DOTM Air Raid a while ago, I find myself been on a bit of a spree when it comes to less-common variants of existing figures...

This time around, with ROTF Blowpipe here joining my collection...

Among the multiple variants of the 07 Movie Dropkick mold (Which was a fan-favourite back in its day), I think this one may be the one variant that most may not aware even existed nowadays (And been only available as part of a 2-pack set with another ROTF Sideways didn't help either); And in that sense, ROTF Blowpipe is kinda cool (For better or worse)

The claw plier weapon thing is a bit lame, IMO. It works fine in vehicle mode, but using this weapon thing in robot mode is just awkward; No matter how this weapon is posed in robot mode, it always just looks like Blowpipe awkwardly holding up a flatbed cover, like he's going for pizza delivery.

In some aspects however, I do think that ROTF Blowpipe here has a more cohesive colour layout than 07 Movie Salvage (The other Autobot repaint of this mold)...
