He's almost done. Just some slight weathering and maybe a touch up here or there.

 

Topspin's knees look quite bent in those photos, so he might be able to stand taller. Leadfoot's vehicle mode looks much better there then the stock photos.

That's cool, but if someone's gonna do an upgrade kit for MPM4 why would they ignore the shoulder pads? The chest thing isn't even really needed on the official since the chest compresses much more. The gun is dope tho.

I think I agree with you. I have to think on this one. Topspin and rotf Soundwave are probably the only two SS figures that I think are not as good looking as the originals.

The ROTF versions are huge next to the studio series guys. Dotm might work but damn i prefer the rotf designs. Anyways, i hope they release them soon with human accessories

 

I figured as much. I heard the Dotm versions were trash though.

Yeah I'd say so! The bicep swivel (or lack thereof) is the only legit complaint I have. There are some unpainted areas that are unfortunate but I can fix that myself. I am actually enjoying the jet mode a lot more than I thought I would be. It feels way more sleek in-hand. Transformation is more complex than any starscream to date but not hard at all. I was able to figure it out without instructions or any video (although I did a couple things wrong the first time). Everything locks into place satisfyingly in both modes. I'll probably do a legit review thread this weekend, but they do take time.

They actually look like perfect MPM-sized twins! I should have kept the ones I had for this reason, but I didn't think to put them with MPMs. Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again, but I love your chill "hangin-out" pics with the MPMs and the basketball setup. Looks like they're having a fun saturday afternoon and it's calming.

 

Aside from Optimus Prime I think the SS versions look better.

I love how he is.. almost hard to find anything that needs paint (dont worry ill find something) and those wheels are an.. interesting choice?
But he is great!

 

I'm going to cut off the calipers. Maybe glue some inside the wheels.

 

These are casted with the wheels.. ill look into cutting the calipers out or find another set of wheels for him.
That, some paint on the grey part in the Top of the window and Under where the windscreen whippers are And the taillights look off.. but moldwise he is stunning!
Just cant remember if there was chrome on his arms in the movie?
and he needs more shiny paint in the altmode but the silver looks about right..
And that headsculpt is just.. wow!
