Do you have helicopter Dropkick, if so, how does it compare quality wise?
That sounds pretty good then. My off-road Bee is just a tad fiddly in some areas but not too bad. Any smaller physically and it could've been really bad. The black plastic on jet Shatter is more flexible than soft, soft would be like the spikes/teeth on SS Grimlock.

Hmm, that's odd. Walmart shouldn't have the common sku issue. Maybe call them.

Nope, don't have that one. Not a lot of people like that figure, and I still see it for sale at b&m Walmarts.

So my Stealth Bumble is approaching being finished, and I'm wondering: How much of his robot armor should I leave yellow? Should I keep it all? Should I make just the shoulderpads black? Or maybe the gauntlets? And should they be all black, or with yellow accents, and where?

First off, looks great so far!

On the shoulder pads and forearm shields, maybe an inverse the DOTM look? Have them mostly black but leave the ends yellow.

Don’t have that Bee, but Car Dropkick feels so good and better than Shatter. While Shatter has really tight legs where I’m scared I’ll break it, Dropkick has tight arms but not as much fear in regards to moving it and the reduction of kibble just makes him a joy to play with. His transformation is a bit tricky but satisfying. Only thing I hate is the doors have to be tabbed in first and the rear wheel well helps to lock it in. I didn’t know that and did the doors last and felt like I was gonna break the doors if I tried to force it.

Looks great, but i’d make the shoulder pads black as it looks like he’s wearing a sleeveless shirt. But I’d say keep some form of yellow (like the yellow detail right above the elbow) on it so the biceps aren’t lost in the black mass of his backpack.

Bonus points if you can make the forearms fade into yellow but I don’t know if that’s in your skill set (certainly not in mine)

It took me a long time to figure out that trick. I was always just wiggling and forcing the doors until they snapped into place whenever I would transform him, and I just recently figured out that it's much easier to close the doors before pushing the legs panels in

Don’t remember asking, but good for you. :thumb  and my like for Barricade can be further explained below....

I can go for these - I really feel that Bumblebee got the balance right. G1 boxy was old school and couldn’t work on the big screen but I think the alternative wasn’t great either! For me Barricade hit the sweet spot between the two, and the Bumblebee movie designs have that balance between the traditional designs of old which many grew up on, and the modern alien mech vibe too.

Dropkick and Bee are nice designs, and the Optimus is a win for me too. In the Bay films, until he spoke or the battle mask went on, you couldn’t have really guessed who he was, where as this design, you can get him from the off.

I’m definitely getting a Bumblebee Optimus at some point soon. Thanks for being so positive and encouraging John!

Words have not been invented yet to describe how good of a figure car Dropkick is. Considering I only paid $10 for him at Walmart, I honestly feel like I stole him sometimes lol. He's one of the few tformers characters that's damn near 100% to what he appears on-screen. Sometimes I wish I could shake the toy designers hands. As for heli Dropkick, you'd basically be getting him for the altmode because everything else is just ugh... The fact that he's a shelfwarmer still says a lot too tbh.

Only interested in Topspin of the new bunch and I gotta say he looks a bit gangly in the arms.

It could be that I'm just used to the proportions on the old DOTM deluxe and this is more accurate to the CGI model but something feels off.

I'm hoping messing with him in hand will rectify all the issues I have with him.

    Headsculpt looks aces though!

I guess unlike CGI Topspin, SS Topspin did not like lifting his weights.
    Screenshot_20200625-200337-1.jpg images (24)-1.jpg
Funny how the DOTM toy 9 years ago handled his backpack and proportions better than a SS from today with ILM files.

Something is definitely off. I think his backpack is doing him an injustice blurring his torso's physique, but my photos above comparing him with his film appearance show you're not wrong about his arms.

Not saying he does, but does anyone else get the impression he MIGHT be sharing engineering with Roadbuster?

I'd say maybe keep the shins yellow, and SOME of the gauntlets and pads. Maybe mimic the racing stripes? 67 Camaro Bee is a good inspiration.
This is one of the most "meh" deluxe waves in a long time I feel like. RotF Soundwave....I'm still trying so hard to like him, but he's so low-effort! Topspin looks cool but I have no connection to the character. Cliffjumper looks like a WFC figure but with a different head.
