I’d suppose if they were to do something on that scale, they’d probably do it through Haslab.

I think it’s solid, but I like the 1-3 prime look a lot more. BB prime is too G1

    Stockade.

Dunno whether he is 'best' material but he certainly was an underrated gem. Very sturdy, rock solid in both modes, gimmick was functional and didn't hinder bugger all. Transformation is simple, and he manages his kibble well. Nothing flung off. Wouldn't look too out of place on a CHUG shelf either. His bot kibble/design was a sign of changing times. Transitioning from CHUG aesthetics to Movieverse with not much to go on couldn't have been easy for any designer at the time. He was a downright bruiser both in design and what little fiction there was of him.

    Stockade was a great toy.

Yes I have SIEGE Optimus. I much prefer the SS38 deco with the dark, metallic grey and darker reds/blues. I also like the intricately sculpted detail on SS38. Whoever mapped out the deco for SS38 did a good job. However, where SIEGE Prime does a better job is in articulation, it poses more fluidly and with more range(aside from the lack of forward/backwards motion for the feet).

I do like how SS38's hips aren't hindered by a waist plate though(the plate is instead incorporated as part of the hip joints).

Battle Blade Bumblebee. If he were smaller there would be no need for a studio series figure.

    Aw man, that's a bummer =/

Speaking of, what are those two little pieces that swing out from behind the grille? Are they used for the Jetfire combo?

Just got SS44 Optimus Prime a couple of days ago. Absolutely love this lad. I'm 100% gonna paint him up later today. JPEG_20191229_171656.jpg

Hmmmm not including my mpms that I love, growing up I always loved my 2007 concept camaro bee, wheelie was also a blast cause he was a tiny truck and really grew tall as a robot, although wildly out of scale. But I guess in terms of best, dark of the moon Skyhammer was awesome. Very cool robot mode from a helicopter. Unfortunately not seen in the movie though.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Starscream took inspiration from his HFTD leader class toy.

Hoping ratchet comes with both his buzzsaw and Emp blaster this time around.
Also hoping both figures are the same quality as jazz and megatron.
