    It’s an exceptional figure. Probably my favorite Megatron, followed very very closely by the SS 2007 one. It’s a real shame Maketoys seems to be dying or dead, because the CD line had a lot of potential. But Optimus and Megatron are a great pair of hyper articulated and stylized figures.


    In other news, my SS49 Bee should arrive tomorrow. Hope I get a good copy, he’s poised to be one of my favorite SS figures.

    2007 Megatron is my figure of the year. I was looking forward to him ever since Studio Series was announced. Such a great and underrated design in my opinion. The weapon is cool to have but I'm sure DNA will have a upgrade soon. Give me that Allspark cube!

    Seriously though. The paint, head sculpt, alt mode, and basically everything about the figure to me is perfect!

    Megatron is my personal favorite SS figure of the year, followed by BB OP. SS Shockwave is really well done too but ranks lower as his size / price ratio is worse than Megatron.

    I'd long ago painted his legs and other details, but only recently was inspired to move the arm kibble onto his back, and just added the FWI cannons. I'm in love with this big lug all over again.
