Dont be mad at yourself its good
Happy holiday everybody!!
With some candies for Christmas, Blackout here wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy new year
Happy holidays friends!
Hope you all get some nice Movie robots under the tree in the morning!
This looks like a classroom fight and their own men is waiting for the teacher to step in.
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, Soundwave was waiting for tomorrow to be such a rouse.
I don't necessarily like them as individual bots but they do look good together
Just got my dotm Prime tonight. I put the fwi accessories on it and imo looks so much better.
Also, I didnt think the shield that came with him would be THAT small.
I think I will use this shield for my cyberverse optimus...
I'd love to see the Studio Series Soundwave in these colors. If for no other reason than to have one less silver car on the shelf.
I'm not saying all short girls throw themselves at tall guys, I'm just saying there's a variety of short girl out there, and she has a type
I wish this bee be a bit larger
Aside from the two Leaders, I have all of the recent Studio Series figures. Here are my thoughts:
Deluxe Bumblebee is really good, a bit kibbly with the back in robot mode but he really does look spectacular. I have some concerns with how thin the plastic is in parts, like where the waist joint is, because I feel like they might break with enough force used on it. The transformation is quite fun, although the way the feet and arms work leave gaps in the vehicle mode. Vehicle mode is great too, overall he is a very solid figure with very few complaints.
Deluxe Hot Rod is... fine. Definitely the weakest of the bunch. The new parts are great but he is still that WW2 Bumblebee mold. Depending on how much you liked that one will determine if you like this one. I liked that Bumblebee for what it is so Hot Rod is good but not a standout.
Deluxe Soundwave is awesome! For me, he may be the most well-rounded figure of the wave. Robot mode is solid and I am sooooooo happy to have a movie-accurate DOTM Soundwave, especially in that fantastic silver paint. Laserbeak is neat but definitely needs paint which I'll probably add soon. Transformation is simple but pretty good, and the vehicle mode is quite nice.
Deluxe Arcee sisters. They are awesome! I always liked these designs and I am glad to see them accurately done even if they are so small. The extra gun and blue piece to put on Arcee is odd and I am assuming is meant for the undocumented combined mode. Motorcycle modes are great too, especially for the size.
Voyager Mixmaster is the first Constructicon in Studio Series that I feel isn't better than the original figure. This figure has more accurate details, but ROTF has the proportions, better articulation, and a better truck mode. Plus he can do the cannon mode! But this one is Devastator's head so any sacrifices I feel are pretty acceptable. I really like this figure, despite how that opening sounded.
Voyager Megatron, I already touched on this one. He is really good but flawed. Trying to look past my big problems with it (that chest, the lackluster jet mode) he is very solid and well worth it.
Just got him for Christmas, he is so fucking excellent !
Im sorry about blurry photos
Merry Christmas everyone!
Look at what I got! They both were on sale!
Oh its Christmas for Megatron alright. He gets TWO PIECES!
My girlfriend and I get gag gifts for each other occasionally. She plays Overwatch and hates Junkrat, so I got her the figure.
She knows I'm not enamored with some SS stuff, so got me Hightower.
He's...interesting. I was pleased that nothing fell off during transformation, and the bot mode is pretty unique. I do.wish the crane claw actually worked.
Overall, not nearly as bad as I was thinking it would be, fun even, considering I never once even wanted it.
Is anyone else having issues with keeping the chest pieces on Soundwave during transformation? I haven't seen it being mentioned, and I have tried about 10 times now and can not get them to stay attached, which really makes me not want to transform it anymore.
At the same time, I also do some mods to remedy my SS-49 in my simple attempt to slightly remedy the huge "T30 Sandstorm" like back wheel fenders. I cut off some parts from the front wheel fender and stick the part that was cut off onto the front headlight section part instead.
It's not much, but the front hood chest does look slightly better.
