Dino I don’t see coming in 2020 and if it does it won’t be totally screen accurate. Hasbro has trouble getting the license for his vehicle mode. Que I can see this year

Great speech. It sums up how I feel perfectly! Except my age. I was 21 when the movies came out, and I've been the perfect age to see transformers continually change and be different my whole life, so to see it be pushed even farther didn't phase me as much as a lot of people who were older and still considered G1 the only thing that appealed to them. Plus once I saw that first trailer and actually saw the bots move and exist in "real life"? Man I was hooked!
I also agree with this. Bumblebee definitely still had some bay-esque designs, they were just shot better. The cybertron designs were rushed, which is ironic considering how many people liked them.
    Pew pew!

About the upcoming Knightverse designs, I'm a bit torn on them. I won't say they're bad designs or anything, but I do think that those designs suffered for been done during this era of where fully slavish G1 designs are literally everywhere from various toylines like Prime Wars, Siege, Cyberverse, Authentics to cartoons like the Machinima shows that focused so heavily on G1 that everything just looks kinda the same, which is kinda boring.

Say whatever you wanted about the Bayverse, Unicron Trilogy or NuRID, but they do at least try to do something actually new and push the boundary of how various characters could look like, such as Armada Megatron with his antler horns helmet, Bayverse Ironhide who is mostly black colored and has two badass arm-mounted cannons, NuRID Bisk who looks like a giant mechanical anthropized orange lobster or Bayverse Crosshairs with his alt mode kibble forming his trench-coat look.

I got nothing against the traditional slavish G1 look actually as this entire franchise won't even exist if G1 wasn't a thing, but I actually won't mind if more experimental designs are used as well.

Tbh I agree with a lot of the statements regarding bayformers here. I honestly prefer bayformers over G1 because that’s what I grew up with. Don’t get me wrong, G1 is where transformers started. But I personally prefer the bayformer design. Growing up with Bayformers and seeing it possibly go away for more G1 personally saddens me a little. But that’s just my two :2c: . Nice to see I’m not the only one who digs bayformers too.

I also prefer the bayverse designs over the g1s... I see them much more mature and credible... Even though I grew up with the cartoons, i find them now too boxy (is this even a word?) and too simple to be alien robots with futuristic technologies and weapons.... I watched today the 1986 movie after years and have to admit, it was really disappointing!

Bayverse designs, love or hate them, were undeniably unique. Compared to the prior standard blocky humanoid designs, there was more varied sizes and silhouettes among the bots. Then there are the more outlandish designs, such as Demolisher/Scavenger, Rampage, and Devcon, which I'm pretty sure would never been realized in Transformers without the movies.

I will admit the greebling and exposed mechanical bits was overdone at times (the dreads being among the worst offenders imo), which the Knightverse mostly fixed my adding more armor/paneling.

Now that I think about it, the four earth bots in BB are probably my favorite transformers aesthetic ever: unique designs with a reasonable blend of mechanical greebling and paneling.

This one doesn't even make sense... if the guy already bought Megatron and didn't want him, why not just return him in his own box and get the same money back? Either way, at least the swapped toy is equivalent value, lol.

Yeah, but I'm saying why not return Megatron as Megatron if he just doesn't want that toy? Just do a legit return.

Expired receipt? Thrown away packaging? Maybe he wanted to spread the Decepticon cause in stealth mode.

Whoever leaks Ratchet and Screamer, remember to create two separate threads.
It was an issue to discuss two different figures in the past. (I.e: Mpm4 and 3, Mpm8 & 9)
