My Long Haul pegs in and stays pegged almost perfectly.
You almost have to accept it as more monster than robot.
Either way, I love this thing.
Made this a while ago. SS Thundercracker with a custom, fully working Titan Master that fits in the cockpit (body is a resin copy of Nightbeat [body mold also used for Legends Ghost Starscream], face plate is made from a resin copy of Siege Starscream's head as I didn't have Ghost Starscream).
"Welcome to the junkyard, where no one makes it out alive"
Been liking how Cogman looks with the boss bod
holy shit. That's beautiful. Downside is its waaaaay too big to scale with studio series. 11.2 inches? Oof man, I don't have room for that
New apartment, new display.
Those are some nice shelves. Where did you buy them from?
A bunch of media and merch stated that Cogman was meant to be a Headmaster. Wish the film was more faithful to that vision and we got to see something like Cogman commandeering 'Con bodies
Walmart. They're about $30 each.
Nice display! I know Hound is TLK mold but I think he should still stand with the AoE crew. Especially since Optimus is a TLK mold too anyway
Still praying that we get a Studio Series Breakaway. Really wish I could content someone at Hasbro about that. He's such an underrated and amazing character
I really wish they would make a functioning triple changer for drift...that's what I am holding out for.
It may seem impossible..but hey...there was a time I thought they would never Re-do movie megatron yet they did.
There was a time I thought we would never get a toy for Optimus' 2nd truck mode without the huge bagpack...yet we got the Unique toys challenger.
How can you compare engineering limits to marketing limits? It's not like any of the Megatrons is an impossible design.
I would like to advise you not expect a Triple changing drift in studio series because it's not possible currently. 3rd party companies are where you should put your hope, but expect such a product not to be in scale with SS
So which version (Nitro Zeus or KSI Boss) is more faithful to the Nitro Zeus that what we see in the movie?
I'm trying to decide if I want the newly released KSI Boss. I already have Nitro Zeus (and Thundercracker) but I want the version that most looks like Zitro Zeus from the movie (paint scheme etc.).
Neither, but speaking personally, I'm happy about that. The figure is excellent as is. Adding chains and whatever else the "character" had would ruin it for me.
So after going to california and back (a journey that took four freaking days and was completely unnecessary) I should have my hightower today. FINALLY. I'm almost too annoyed to enjoy him, although I'm sure that when I finally have him I'll forget about all that. He took almost a full week to get to me even though the seller is in the same damn state!
I love Brawl's design, but the shoulder pads and undersized hands ruin this one for me. But glad you are enjoying it! The extra posability and eye lights look awesome and really fun.
No joke, if they had called the KSI Boss figure "boss bod" I might actually own him right now
I agree. The thing that makes TLK so frustrating is all the ideas that are thrown in there and aren't really executed on, or barely (like how Optimus is only evil for a few minutes). Rotf is famous for doing the same thing, but that movie actually executes on all its insane ideas so even though it's an overstuffed movie, it still gave us so much cool stuff to watch.
Definitely KSI Boss.
I don't care about any of that, but the fact that he STILL doesn't have the right head is what makes me not care about the mold.
Do you guys think we've seen the last of Ratchet in SS or should he get an AOE/ROTF based voyager toy?
For a character that's been in 4 bayverse movies, the deluxe toy doesn't seem like an appropriate send off for him. The reason I think a Voyager is feasible is because the deluxes were based off his 07/DOTM appearance which hastak could easily scrap (like they have with ROTF Optimus) and replace with a better qualitied figure, also better paint schemes. As far as the rumor has it; The line's got roughly 2 years left before hastak ends it(?) and there's not a lot of characters left for voyager treatment so wouldn't it be fair if they let Ratchet have this comeback?
