Mpm Bee is MP car size. I've seen comparison shots where he is the same size as MP Sideswipe. Some of the biggest rotf deluxes like Sideways are in this same neighborhood. HA definitely do not look like they scale well.

They did a pretty good job of replicating the on screen model back in 2007, at a glance I almost thought MPM Optimus was a retool.

I was told sometimes they release repaints because some people couldn't get the first one, so the second repaint is like a second chance to get it. I was looking on ebay for ROTF Long Haul Prices. I think this would be perfect timing.

    MPM Prime is actually taller.

There is an extra hip joint to make him the same height or taller.

Look how bee is at the half of the crotch in the mpm prime instead surpassing it with the LC

A lot of people mistook MPM Prime for a retool of the ROTF Leader mold. The first Leader Prime from 2007 was impressive for its day but when the ROTF Leader came out it was nearly impossible to beat. I will admit that what MPM Prime has been able to achieve is impressive but I personally am not sold on the figure. The abs still bother me and the paint apps don't really lend themselves to a Masterpiece title in my opinion.

I am just thankful that this new Prime is still the same size as the Leader mold because that means future MPM releases still might be able to fit in a rough scale with my Striker Prime.

    Edit:
I'll be darned. Looks like you're right. Never even looked that closely at the hip joints. Still, it seems like it only adds a cm or two to the overall height. I'll be anxious to see some more in hand reviews of MPM Prime. Maybe I can be swayed to start a Movie Masterpiece collection. :lol

I disagree man, I don't think that's an extra joint. I think it just looks different because one of the legs is splayed farther out and that's what it looks in the inner joint

If you look closely, the bar connecting the leg to the waist is level with each other. There is no extra joint

I got the FWI Jetfire kit when it first came out, and as soon as I opened the box, I put it on Dark Jetwing Prime. I love it so much on him that I still haven't taken it off.

Screenshot_2017-06-11-10-16-07.png Screenshot_2017-06-11-10-15-10.png New to this thread (not the site tho lol) so I guess I'll just start here and follow from now on. ;)

Pics i took off the net of The Last Knight Leader Megatron's faceplate/horns closing Gimmick! 1ST OFF, THIS SO DOPE!!

The Faceplate flips up from the bottom by rotating the entire mouth piece so that his mouth is not exactly behind the plate, BUT it flips up in that direction so it certainly looks accurate while its working. Then at the same time the horns close in JUST LIKE the movie. The lame Hasbro pictures made it look like thetdidn't close in all the way.

Teeth on the character or the toy? If it's the toy it's probably the rotating feature. And the gaps around the mouth making it stick out. Possibly I guess you'd have to decide that :lol

Waitamin. My fallen is not that color and it looks like that one has the different molding to it. Maybe slightly? Is that a HFTD version or something to that extent? Remember wanting it it has some kinda face change gimmick too right? (I actually forgot about that for almost 10 years now! *7*)
