I need this Optimus, it hasn't been revealed but I already need it. I need to get that Bee, and then this Prime. Both will be MINE. I like the look of this DLX line.

 

It’s an experiment, but it is gonna involve the hinges from some cheap reading glasses. I’ll post more about it as I go on, but I’m hoping it will be a success!

100%. The clunker version of the mold is a million times better than the original.

I'm starting to feel like I'm committing a crime as I LOVE SS01 Bee. I know the clunker version is the same but with the pin, but I just love the clean look and my copy has no issues, the roof doesn't even fall off.

SS01/SS27 is a great mold, he's definitely in my top 10 Studio Series figures list.

 

I love mu S01 as well.. altrough he is not that clean, I went for movie accuracy.

 

The problem is that I REALLY want it all.

You're very lucky then! For me it wasn't just the lack of a pin on the roof, but the fact that pretty much everything else wouldn't stay on either. The bottom parts of the doors (that swing down for bot mode) fell off when transforming and posing, the cannon switch arm would fall off at the slightest breeze, and since the backpack would fall off all the time I couldn't collapse the back kibble to properly form the bot mode torso. It was a mess all around, but my clunker bee is solid in all those areas! With the bonus of being movie accurate  

It's a 3A figure, so no it won't transform. And considering it's their deluxe size it probably won't scale with their Bee...

 

i love that Bee too. Yeah, the roof pops off at times but heck it isn't even that bad for me most times... maybe pops off once every 5 times I transform him because I know it is coming.

And I prefer clean bee next to the rest of the Movie 1 cast and also it IS accurate for the ending of the Bee Movie.

 

Wondering if I should bite the bullet and get SS 6,8, 12 or wait for a sale on Pulse first......

I would get starscream. His repaint is shelf warming. I am thinking about brawl as well but i think he will linger a bit more.

 

All three are great. Brawl is probably the weakest but even then he is a neat figure. Starscream is the best mold we've ever gotten for the figure and while Blackout can be a pain at times to transform in both modes he looks utterly amazing.

 

Yeah I was impressed with what I've seen from this thread of all 3 actually, Brawl could be a little better but as a Decepticon fan its slim pickins. Decepticons from movie 1 and ROTF (Constructicons, Soundwave, Megatron) DOTM(Shockwave, Sentinel Prime) I really desire, for ROTF Megs though and because I love all my Megs BIG Ill be getting the OS KO. It should be a good match with MPM 08 and UT TLK Megs. Was never a fan of the alien tattoo SS. For Autobots what is the best Bumblebee? (I'm not interested in the 80's Camaro look or WW 2 look) I have 38 preordered on amazon for OP. I hope we get a good Hot Rod and not a retool of the Lockdown figure. Any chances we see a different Lockdown as a leader? I hope we get the rest of the AoE Dinobots, Hound, Crosshairs and Galvatron. Well that's it for my Wish list.

 

For Bee I have the VW Bee and the TLK Bee and they are both good in their own ways. Yes, the ankles on TLK Bee suck balls but if you know about them then it is fine.

There is ZERO chance we'll get Lockdown as a Leader. The line is all about scale and Lockdown mass changes in the dang film.

 

if we got a Fallen I wonder what he would transform into? same with Shockwave?..I think Sentinel would be a Leader?
