Yeah I think I'm just gonna get a DOTM one because of better QC and the gun but I want to get one new (in an unopened package). You never know why people return things. Could be QC mayhem or even broekn figs in there...

Only thing that bothers me about the DOTM Ratchet is the lack of paint on the body (missing a lot of silver) and the lights. Might pick up a Gundam marker for the silver but idk what to do for the lights...

The grey isnt actually bad in hand, I was going to paint it silver but after buying it and having it in hand I decided to keep it grey. You may want to paint the areas that are lacking grey/silver. However unfortunately both Ratchet figures lack paint.

 

Looks like someone screwed up the roof rack mod and needed a new one.

As someone who double dipped and got both versions, I personally prefer the DOTM version. He’s a much more pleasant shade of green, and the nicer paint on his face makes up for the lack of paint elsewhere. Just look carefully at the figure in-package, because the gun that came with mine had some imperfections.

Just waiting on the great Canadian postal service to deliver Blackout, Infernocus and another Shadow Raider.

 

Guess it's settled then haha, gonna pick him up tomorrow if they still got em, he does kinda shelfwarm so I'll get him eventually.

Would it be a good idea to get a sharpie or a Gundam marker to give color to those headlights? If so, what specific color should I go for?

Out if those three I only have blackout, but imo he's awesome. Transformation can be scary the first time and the hands are weird, but other than that he's great!

 

Well I had Blackout and Infernocus in my stack for the longest time but the recent nonsense with TFsource had me finally ship them and I said "what the hell" and threw in another Shadow Raider.

I got a text saying DHL tried to deliver a package to my house today while I was at work. I think it was my wave 5 figures waaaaaah!   can’t get them til tomorrow now.

I don’t know what gun it is but I do know it’s not hers. She comes with two arm-mounted smaller guns.

Probably, but it’d depend how good they were. I’d rather pay a bit more for a movie 1 starscream with machine guns and his saw blade than wait for it to be packaged with a whole mother figure. I’d also prefer Optimus be more expensive and come with everything he needs (two swords, two guns, axe, shield, matrix, and transforming trailer!).

Doesn’t it look small though? I have that deluxe OP and the trailer is barely big enough for him. Man I hope we get an actual transforming trailer. I hate trailers that are just opening boxes.

Yeah DOTM ratchet is less obviously missing paint except the legs.

Seriously tho, how can this guy get the figures so early? Is it a leak or something? I want my SS constructicons, and I want them now!!

 

I have metallic Sharpies but they can rub off easily. I don't have Gundam markers so I actually don't know whether they're good.

Ah, what a shame. Although congrats to (probably) getting wave 5! You people in the US win again! I got a lot of stuff coming this month INCLUDING Wave 5. I'll be busy.

 

Small ? Yeah kinda but the Trailer work's well with SS32 that's what I was getting at so if the leaders an upscaled SS32 the trailer would be a little to small and would need a new larger one.
