I hate it when a customer at work tries to get me into a discussion about religion or politics. Nope, not having it. I'm not risking my job by accidentally pissing someone off.

I constantly find little pamphlets purposely left around that say the absolute BS.

My sleep schedule is messed up, I thought ai could have finally gotten back on track last night and was exhausted to the brink of collapse but I was so bothered by something it kept me awake, and now I feel like it's even worse. So it looks like the only way I'll be able to fix it is to stay up.

Oh for sure. Definitely a marketing gimmick. Much like a snake oil salesman. Or all those tonics that were on the market without restrictions in the late 1800's. Though less dangerous because you're not taking an unknown substance into your body.

The problem arises that parents and students are buying into it and every teacher I know says based on their observations it's nothing but a distraction. I know many of my teacher friends used to let it slide when it was only the autistic and ADHD kids who had them, but once it became a fad they had to put a stoo to it altogether without realresearch for the fidget spinners claims.

Could they be beneficial to the targeted market? It's completely possible. But without real scientific research and hard data to back it up the schools aren't going to lift the ban on them. And even if they did they'd only allow the autistic and ADHD kids to use them. So, you could say the one's causing all the trouble really are the kids who are into it because it's a fad. Assuming of course that it even really works for it's intended purpose of relieving stress, anxiety, etc. in the targeted market.

I don't think they're ever going to use/waste tax payer dollars on some kind of dumb research like this just so the company can sell more toys. Because that's basically what it is. Then again, I could be wrong. Tax payer dollars have been wasted on dumber things before :lol  Either way, fads come and go. I don't think this one will last longer than the good ol stress balls. Remember those? :lol

I'm having a garage sale and put an add on Craigslist. Getting a barrage of emails asking nitty gritty questions. Just show up the day I'm having it!

What annoys me the most is when people make a mistake and then they try to blame it on you.

    Overprotective parents.
As someone with overprotective parents, it's so annoying how they want to be in control of everything.

I have to beg them for days (not joking) to let me hang out with my friends or go to a school dance. (And even so, there's no gaurentee I'll convince them. My parents' skulls are as thick as bedrock)

I ask them to hang out with friends that I've known for 6 fucking years and they say it's "unsafe" and "I'm too young". It's not like we're gonna do drugs or drink!

My dad always says how I have a hard time socially, when legit it's his fault cause he rarely lets me socialize

And if a miracle happens and they do let me, they'll try and supervise me and I will have to beg them again to just leave me be.

I know they're my parents, and I love them, but Jesus Christ, they can get on my nerves.

Pretty much in the same boat all of 6th-8th grade. Used to ask to go to school dances but then when I get back they look at me strange like if I'm high or buzzed. I don't ask to hand out with many friends. And I wouldn't dare to ask them if I could take a girl on a date. Not because I think they'd say no but they'd be way to nosy.

Thing is those work like a charm.

4 hours of sleep here today. I swear the world conspires to deprive me of sleep....

Oh, my mother used to be like that back in the day. The fights we had.......And then she bought me a cell phone because I found my first girlfriend so I could talk to her....The lies, the horror....It was an elaborate ploy to keep more control...I feel for ya man,but they are just afraid. Which makes things even more difficult because you know they harm you because they love you :(

Work for a place for eighteen years only to have your boss sit down and tell you your position is being phased out. So, either go back into the standard work force -after having an office job for eleven of those eighteen years- or leave.
    *sigh*
    Such loyalty.

That moment you take off your brace to scratch underneath and the area it was bracing immediately erupts in pain. -_- Like can it not f*ck off for one second and let me scratch?

Yeah, really sorry man. Money trumps loyalty in most businesses and even in most "friendships." At least you have a good notch for your resume though. 18 years at 1 company has got to be worth something.

I woke up at 4:30am got dressed in 10 minutes to go to the warriors parade. I forgot my belt. My pants sagged a little bit but I would pick them up because I don't like to sag but I don't like my pants ALL the way up either. My dad took a picture sent it to my mom and she tells me "that's the last time I want to see you sagging its gross"

Who are you to tell me how to dress? I'm not wearing all blue or red. I forgot my belt and my pants sagged a bit so what?
At least I didn't leave them like that or regularly do that.
