i'm 25... i don't think i've felt the lack, it's just annoying...
I dont remember myself ever needing to sleep more than 5-6 hours till I reched my 28s-29s and I didnt feel the lack of sleep until then either.
Probably your body is conditioned to this cycle and its normal for you. But just to be on the safe side, you might want to visit one of those sleep clinics. You will go in there put a couple electrodes on your chest to monitor your sleep and you will sleep the night there. If there are any abnormalities they will tell you.
well it would make sense...14 years of waking up at 5 to get to the bus, and 4 years of ******* banging on the ceiling every night because he didn't appreciate us calling the police on him blasting the music at 12-5 in the night....among other, unethical reasons,..

In any event check it out though, in one of those sleep clinics. Sleep deprivation can become an ugly issue if it becomes prolonged.
