Today has been a day of basic math failing idiots who want to argue about how their failure at math is correct. For example, the one bright individual I just got done talking to insists that 3000 is a bigger number that 4600. I have had at least 10 people like that so far.....

Is that the "new math" taken to new depths? Good luck explaining and teaching PEMDAS when the times comes.

I would calm down if I were hopping mad. Rather I'm just annoyed at how some people not only fail at basic math, but also just simple logic.

I'm ok. I'm good. If they want to think a smaller number is in fact larger than a larger number, I'm gonna let them think that.

I am generally fine with kids and even like them — without them, the human race would go extinct and despite being a geek, I have not approached misanthropy plus kids can be cute. These kids, however, that have been coming over every day are just awful. I know their parents are to do with it and the parents are similarly obnoxious. I want to write (yes, I have temporarily slain writer's block) but I am also autistic. What does that have to do with things? I have sensitivity to sound and whenever these kids come around, they go out of their way to be loud and high pitched as possible. Not only that, but because their father is an a-hole to dogs my dog companions hate him and bark when he is near them. Oh, and since these kids have started coming around, I have found shit in places where it shouldn't be on several occasions. I guess some kids are loud, but that? It's just gross and these parents should have done something about it a long time ago.

I wish I could uninvite these people over for the sake of cleanliness if nothing else, but since it isn't my house alone I can't do anything. And I have voiced my concerns to the others. It makes sense that I would be overridden despite being a grown adult — the others in the house want these people over — but it is still immensely frustrating having my senses overwhelmed and hobbies interrupted every day.

One thing that bugs me is when people wear graphic t-shirts to weddings or funerals. I'm not saying you have to dress up, but at least wear a plain t-shirt.

When you aren't moving your limbs at all but the underlying condition of one stars spasming for absolutely no reason at all. Like WTF body? I understand if you put pressure on something or move it in a way it does not like, but to suddenly start throbbing and clenching repeatedly in pain while doing nothing? Guh. Bodies are so stupid. Hmph.

This is really something that has begun to irk me after the reveal of black panther.

When people say "Now everyone is a fan of..." And it bothers them.

I don't understand why someone else's joy and excitement over something bothers someone else so much just because they were the longer fan. Like does it seriously bother someone else that much? I can understand if this was a sports team but it's a goddamn superhero character....

Some people like superheroes the same way you like sports teams.

Well, I thibk part of that is kinda like elitism, but I think it's most ly because there are a of people who are justs "nerds" because they think it's cool. Lots of hipsters in my area likw that.
So they aren't upset because people are getting to like something they also love, it's because a bunhc of people will only like it because it's whats "in" at the moment. People love to follow the bandwagon, so if they see other people in similar circles say that something is cool, they'll like it regardless of how they might actually feel about it. So, they don't really care about, they just want to follow the mainstream nerd fads.

But can you explain why someone cares if all of the sudden people are showing interest in a super hero? Like why does it matter to that person who's been a longer time fan?

It's upsetting to genuinely love something for years and to have learned, watched, and read everything about it. Then usually one movie, which portrays only a fraction of-or sometimes a very poor intieration of that character and people clamor to it and claim that they love it and are huge fans of it, when they aren't. Couple that with the facts of my previous post, that some people only like it because they think it's cool, and it gets aggrevating.

I get annoyed when I get stuck behind someone who is driving 10-15 MPH under the speed limit. I don't mind when it's 55 and that's what you're going, but, 40, you need to turn off and don't slow down everyone behind you.

How long you've been a fan doesn't matter if your actually a fan does matter.

This pretty much sums it up.

Pretty much this. I'm very much like this with comics, because comic book characters are "what's in" with the hipsters and such right now. It's frustrating when you attempt to have a conversation about the character to people like this when all they know is the movies... or are just wearing shirts or buying merchandise because it's popular in pop culture currently. These kinds of "fans" are massively annoying.

When someone says you'll never amount to anything important or achieve your dreams. Just because you didn't doesn't mean I won't.

To me it doesn't matter if the fan of only the movies we'll only the comics what everything that represents that franchise, as long as they are an actual fan and not in it because it's the popular thing to do I'm okay with it. It's a lot like people band band T-shirts. If you own a few of their albums. Cool. If you only know one song off the most popular album, then take the shirt off because you and not a fan.

I had to deal with idiots all day today.
