First of all, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Allspark Master, and I'm new to these forums. I hope to interact with as many of you as I can.

Now that that's out of the way, I would like to know why people like Depth Charge. I mean, he's a revenge-driven jerk who doesn't give Primal ANY respect whatsoever, and he doesn't seem to really give a crap about his fellow Maximals. At least Dinobot grew to respect Primal and work fairly well with the other Maximals; with Depth Charge, well, he's just a jerk who cares only for revenge.

Depth Charge is a totally badass character who won't rest until he's captured his adversary. There's a reason why he doesn't give Primal any respect and I'm sure he cares about the other maximals. He kind of reminds me of Batman and the Crow.

    Depth Charge is awesome.

And, contrary to what some believe, I don't think he failed in his final mission due to a desire for revenge.

It came across to me that, despite all his disagreements with Primal, he agreed with him on this one item and wanted to take out the Nemesis.

Rampage just got in the way.

I'd also like to chip in and say Depth Charge is awesome. The show needed more of him! He's also the only Maximal that succeeded in killing a Predacon. Which is awesome.

    Depth Charge is awesome.

I too agree he is a lot like Batman. He is like the loner of the group, like Bats is in the Justice League. He looks really awesome too.

Depth Charge was awesome. There's no denying that. He was a jerk, but he had his reasons for doing so. At least he pulled through in killing Rampage. (even though he didn't complete his final assignment)

Depth Charge is indeed awesome and I'm glad he came back as a zombie (or at least zombie colored) in TF Universe. :lol

Primal doesn't deserve any respect from Depth Charge. Primal had no business taking that mission, and both of them knew it.

Not to mention he failed it horribly.

Depth Charge was awesome. Pretty badass for a blue fish.

Depth Charge had a badass voice, walk and attitude that just said 'Don't mess with me!'. That all made him cool! I'm just kinda sad how he had to go out the way he did in "Nemesis". It seems in the end he just couldn't let go of his thirst for vengeance, but that's what made him the driven character he was.

Rampage showed up and all thoughts of taking out the Nemesis went right out of Depthcharge's head. Even with his legitimate reasons for tracking down Rampage on primitive Earth, Depthcharge was selfish for putting the future of the timeline at risk. It's not like he couldn't have had a crack at Rampage another time when more important things weren't afoot. His priority should've been to get away from or disable Rampage so he could take down the Nemesis. Getting blown up along with Rampage was a fate he deserved for his selfishness.

To me, Depthcharge was a nob, even during those rare times he did decide to help out the Maximals.

    Toy wasn't bad though. :)

Personally, I think Depth Charge would have been better off on the Predacons' side, what with his "I don't give a crap about anybody else but myself and my precious revenge" personality and attitude.

And just out of curiosity, do all the Depth Charge fans hate Primal?

It wasn't revenge he was looking for. It was justice.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist that at all. On topic, he had great reasons for treating Primal and his crew like crap. In his eyes, they failed.

Am I so wrong for wanting a character who is supposedly "good" to give a crap about other people (or bots) besides himself?

Agreed. Depth Charge was one of my favorite Maximals, along side Primal and Dinobot.

    Welcome to TFW2005!

Depth Charge rocked. He did succeed in destroying Rampage/Protoform X in the end, but at the cost of his own life.
