In a perfect world, those Beast Wars Re-Action figures would be in action poses like a 90's Kenner, Toy Biz, or McFarlane toy instead of the static 5poa pose.

I do wonder if BW characters in this line are an indication they'll be in Ultimates! like the TMNT figures.

I don't know why I gotta have that Unicron, but I gotta have that Unicron. Just something so silly about that prototype that makes it endearing.

The fact that the artwork for Unicron is mistransformed is absolutely hilarious

That'd be absolutely perfect. Nothing is more 90's than pre-posed action figures.

Does a voice in my head scream, "GIMME!" at the sight of that Unicron? Yes.

Am I gonna buy it? ... I don't think so. Because this hobby has taught me over and over not to buy the thing that's kinda what I want. Because someday, the thing you actually want will come along.

In other words: ACTUAL G1 UNICRON WHEN, HASBRO?!?!?!

At first I was excited about this announcement until I realized these don't transform. Seemed like a cool way to release Unicron prototype. But if Unicron is going to be an action master then I'd rather have him look like the movie.

While true, they could probably charge $500 for G1 Unicron. G1 Grimlock, not so much.

The amount of effort and cost is similar to that of a new toy. It can't be cheap because of the size and limited demand.

But I'd venture that it'd be easier to move G1 Unicrons at $500 than a lot of other prospective Haslab projects, particularly with the perceived value of the first Haslab Unicron.

Yeah. But by Super7 pricing, then he'd be $300.
