Heh. A little bias breaching the TFW editorial ramparts here.

A repaint isn’t unloading an old figure though, that’s just a new figure. Made that’s a repaint/remold like any other repaint remold. Also it does cost money to use cyberverse Starscream in new packaging it’s not like they’re sitting on a bunch of cyberserse Starscreams in cyberverse packaging. Then that would be trying to get rid of them. These would’ve been made again in Earthspark packaging

You just know someone cancelled their Dramatic Capture 3 pack too because they saw the original listing.

It seems to me that the Warrior Class Cyberverse figures are probably some of the cheaper molds Hasbro has for such trivial sets, without dipping into their dollar store line of molds.

Hopefully not, but then I think cancelling an order based on a listing and nothing else is not the greatest idea... Even if it sounds like something you'd want instead, wait and see.

Y'know this reminds me that it'd actually be pretty cool to see Legacy renditions of the Cyberverse designs, at least Soundwave.

Did Cyberverse Deluxes not sell well and that’s why they keep putting them back out? Or is it part of their desire to have the brand unified behind the evergreen designs? Even when Earthspark is doing it’s own thing the toy of Shockwave was just the Cyberverse Deluxe.

This is hilarious. Y'know this could just work as a walgreens exclusive multipack or somethin'.

While I don't think they are cracking open cyberverse blisters and reboxing them. It does cost money to design and produce molds for figures. Money they budget for and hope to recoup in sales. Even deciding on pain for a recolor like the seekers or Silverstreak/Smokescreen (or the aforementioned Hot Rod/Prowl)

It would be one thing if I believed this was "planned" in advance...you know like seeker repaints. But I'm confident the Cyberverse=Earthspank redeaux and this new set would not have happened if Hasbro didn't think they lost money on pre-production costs

I wouldn't be surprised if this is just some Amazon/Pulse exclusive like that Evergreen-branded 3-pack of Earthspark 1-steps from last(?) year.

I'm not sure this is specifically Hasbro's fault. Did they promise you anything? No, somebody on the Internet gave you a computer listing.

And while it's nice to have leaked listings in the case of, say, Thundertron, so you know to hold off on the Voyager just in case the Leader is better, early knowledge can be a double-edged sword.

How dare this not be the thing that I concluded it would be based on extremely limited information. Jokers at Hasbro don't know have a clue about anything.
