And here is a sketch based on that info. Don’t take it as fact cause for all we know that info could be false, could have changed or is different than how Lazlow drawed it.

Hate the head, otherwise that's fantastic.

 

The heads fine to me, but would ime it to be different but yeah other than that I like it.

 

Would be funny if for some reason they decided to dig through old files and use Cybertron Jetfire's CAD files as the basis for a Stratosphere toy much like SS Airazor had shared engineering with the Kingdom version.

 

The circle is complete, it looks like Movieverse Cybertron Jetfire.

 

The more I look at them side by side the more likely I think this is. Their kibble layout and details are so close that CHUGified versions of either of them would look almost identical, so it could probably be done with minimal remolding. I'd hope for at least slightly pointier shoulder parts for the Vehicon, or maybe for that part to be able to rotate so it points up or back so you can give them different silhouettes, but other than that and the head and possibly car parts, they could easily share a ton of tooling.

 

Shadowstriker is likely going to be a new mold, I'm hoping she has detachable limbs like SS86 Kup that can be replaced with other modular figure limbs. It's not very out of character for her to swap limbs with other bots, tbh

 

I am so glad Hasbro is continuing what they started with WFC. 2 more dinobots, and the JHM cast, let’s go all the way Unicorn, trilogy RID, and beyond.

 

G1. Ok. I’m just hoping as a deluxe, Devcon is not just a Needlenose redo.

 

Kinda yeah, It is Jetfire's second-best design in the UT IMO so go for it.

Yeah definitely G1-ified/CHUG-ifed it can be done.

I think that can definitely be done.

 

I hope that Nemesis Leo is actually colored like Galva Convoy from the "BW: Uprising" stories. That I would pick up!

 

Hmm... I'd be more interested in WFC's Megatron than I would an Armada version. But I think that mold could be used for a few other characters like G1 Fallen, Strika and possibly IDW's Turmoil and Sunder.

Not all of them have to use that mold but HasTak having plans for the 1st two characters that I mentioned even as exclusives somewhere would be great!

NOTE: WFC's Megatron mode could be a good mode for a future Dreamwave Fallen as well if Leader class Armada Meg's mode is deemed too cost effective for him... JUST GIVE US A GOOD G1 VERSION OF THE FALLEN HASTAK!!!

 

Yeah, The Fallen could work so well. His tank mode is practically identical to Megatron's, and if they could put some extra hinges into the tank treads to let you optionally fold them down behind his shoulders the robot mode could be really close too with a few new parts. And according to leaks we heard a few years ago, the designers really wanted to do The Fallen during WFC (along with Lockdown, who's been hinted at coming soon) but marketing wouldn't let them at the time, so hopefully they've still been pushing for it!

 

Can we please just start putting a giant bolded disclaimer at the bottom of each and every one of these types of articles in the future that says what PR means?

 

It's clearly "President Reagan" DUH!

 

That would make far more sense as a separate release. "Black repaint of Lio Convoy" is an older deco than "black repaint of G1 Optimus"; literally every one of his molds has gotten a standard black deco. Hell, they did a black version of Thundertron after they realized the mold worked pretty for Lio. Still, yeah, I'm hoping they'll do Galva as a Selects or Pulsecon thing.

 

While that'd be cool, in the pipeline reveal they did, a pic of the anime copy convoy was used, so probably is just going to be a black repaint. Galva convoy would be a dope selects though
