When was the last time there was a Bayverse toy outside of a toyline labelled as a movie toyline? How many years back do you have to go?

The chance of a Bayverse toy in Legacy is remote, particularly with both Studio Series and ROTB producing movie-based toys.

And in case you hadn't noticed, Legacy 2023 is the subject of this thread. I know you have Bayverse monomania, but please try to at least accept that some things aren't meant to include Bayverse toys - and a list of releases for this year, only in the Legacy line, ain't meant to.

The subject of the thread itself is actually legacy. And I have no recollection of any Stratosphere leaks apart from him existing in the new movie and being voiced by John DiMaggio

 

I been watching the leaks very closely and never seen Stratosphere heard he's in the new movie, but nothing about a toy

 

Devcon in deluxe was surprising. New mold then? Was expecting it to be a voyager using the Studio Series 86 Scourge mold.

This thread might be Legacy, but the front page NEWS that links to this thread is also Studio Series- which lists ‘86 figures.

And what is WFC? Those lines are done. Which is why we now have Legacy.

Yeah, they'll have better articulation, more in scale and other perks than the original WFC game toys

Package Refresh, basically just taking a figure from a previous line and placing it in the current one with new packaging.

Man, this is why I like when series don't reuse names. Like, Masterforce, Victory, Zone, Animated, Prime, Cyberverse... all distinctly different series. Robots In Disguise and War For Cybertron, on the other hand, just bug me cos now you have to specify which RID or WFC you mean.

On another note, wasn't there a leak for WFC Soldier or something from a while back? I dared hope it was a generic Autobot or Decepticon soldier, but is that the WFC Cliffjumper mentioned?

 

To add to that, sometimes there are also slight modifications. For example, in Legacy, the previously released Soundwave and Galvatron had their "battle damage" paint deco removed. And I believe that when Earthrise Optimus Prime was rereleased under Kingdom, his plastic was a slightly different colour or something.

I'm generally kind of okay with Package Refreshes myself, since where I live we don't often get many shelfwarmers and so it usually means another chance to get a toy you missed for some reason. I recall my country only getting a few Earthrise Optimus Primes, for example, and so when Kingdom also had him those toys flew off the shelves.
