After seeing how quickly Cosmos sold out on it even for other Premium members, and how quickly other exclusives have sold out in it (see GI Joe Serpentor and Mindbender that sold out around 10 minutes yesterday), I'm not certain it's worth it to me for 1 or 2 exclusives a year.

I highly doubt these will shelfwarm in the warehouse long enough to get discounted… the difference between Guardian and the other titans is, these are ideal for troop building. Already on this thread there’s multiple people talking about buying multiples, myself included. I’m not saying it’s an impossibility, just that it’s a slim chance. Stranger things have happened tho.

if you dont care about it and don't mind waiting/hunting it, pulse premium probably isn't worth it. i usually back a haslab if not snag exclusives, shipping adds up quite a bit so it works out for me

I think it'd be wise to wait and see the confirmed RRP before we leap to any conclusions.

Remember a lot of people grabbed Hotlink to be their SkyWarp. I am sure that Hasbro saw SW's eBay prices and figured that a black and purple seeker would sell better than a yorangey one.

I mean, that's your decision but as someone who's had Premium since launch it's never been an issue.

I tend to do the majority of my Transformers hunting from Amazon, and I like being able to just hit preorder and sit back. While Pulse is good for some of that, I dislike paying $50 just to nab a few of the exclusives, when I get free shipping on Amazon; heck, even Selects eventually make their way over. Patience is really the name of the game, but it's harder when the thing you want is in the hands of a retailer like Walmart, which has a terrible track record when it comes to fulfilling preorders. I actually feel their exclusive leaders are usually the easier item to find (okay, except Galaxy Shuttle, but I think he's coming eventually), so I'm hoping G2 Grimlock is the same.

Pulse Premium is good for some people, but isn't a good fit for me based on my typical collecting/spending habits.

I'm glad it works for you! Once it went to $50 it just wasn't a good fit for me with the amount I tend to buy.

They came out less than a year apart, that's not enough time for Hasbro to make an entirely new figure based solely on eBay prices

Time and gas are money. Never having to hunt again is a lifesaver with two kids and a full time job.

If tf and joe haslab keep banging it out the park thats 20-30 shipping on the haslab annually so paying extra 20to 30 for no headache finds just works out for me.

Absolutely, once I started working full time remote, those Walmart/Target trips that were so easy to do when I drove by them on the way to work suddenly didn't seem too important ha ha. Velocitron was the first time in a long time that I went store hunting, and luckily I got what I wanted fairly quickly.

The capsule listings on the first page of the thread are the Walmart capsule for this year.
