All of Legacy Wave 2 is definitely getting officially revealed there. We're definitely getting a name for our new Junkion character too!
As for SS, I think they'll reveal Scourge. He's the only one left for SS 2023 Wave 1.

 

That’s what I’m expecting. I believe Bmac posted on instagram announcing the stream with hashtags relating to Evolution and Studio Series, which is either the lines getting toys revealed or the hashtags are just there for the hell of it

 

Honestly, I'll be surprised if any ROTB stuff gets revealed on a stream as they seem to be doing separate reveals for those.

 

Probably legacy wave 2, 1 0r 2 selects like the titan and probably some sort of exclusive i guess, going by last year's first stream

 

The designer said that's how Minerva got made- they made her an Elita-1 retool, and that she wouldn't have been made unless they could fit her in AS a retool, rather than being the primary intention for the mold.

but also, axer was going to be the remold from legacy arcee because he was too obscure for his own mold, but then the takara designer (i forgot their name) suggested road rocket, which was the right choice imo

 

When we get a new nightbeat we'll probably get a new minerva. Hopefully that Nightbeat will have the headmaster gimmick so we can get the proper minerva update.

I've always kind of wondered how important the Dark Fleet gimmick is to people who want a new Tidal Wave.

A friend of mine gave me an Armada Tidal Wave, and I quite like him as both a gigantic aircraft carrier and splitting into three separate ships, but if I had to choose I have to admit I kind of like the Dark Fleet gimmick. There's just something about that "oh, crap!" feeling you can imagine if someone sees three ships suddenly line up and then combine into one super-carrier.

 

Sorry, what that about Needlenose's secret feature? Am I missing something? There's nothing about a secret feature listed on his instruc... oh.

 

Definitely less obscure than those two, he’s even technically in the cartoon. But even if not obscure, he wouldn’t require a new mould, unlike those mentioned.

 

Inb4 a ton of people go "ACKSHUALLY THAT WAS NOVA STORM", a character who's pretty much identical to Sunstorm in both ability, name and color scheme. Cyberverse Nova Storm was basically just Skywarp but not, and the one in Earthspark is the closest to being remotely original and she's just... kind of a mook.

I'ma be honest, I totally forgot until now that that particular seeker showed up in that scene, I was thinking of THIS guy that would become "Nova Storm" AKA Sunstorm 2.0:

 

i think people tend to skim over the fact that theres two separate trios of "rainbow" seekers. the rainmakers, and the trio with sunstorm. (the welcoming commitee, i think?)

i myself completely forgor that theyre two distinct groups. i much prefer sunstorm and his chums to the garish rainmakers.

 

Hasbro doesn't forget these.

What they do forget are the generic recolored army builder Seekers (and cassettes) who were part of Megatron's forces on earth.

I think the last time we saw those seekers was Heroes of Cybertron around 2003 and we've never gotten the extra Rumble/Frenzy recolors.




That's three more Seekers and four more Rumble/Frenzy recolors.

 

To be fair that purple one looks almost identical to Hotlink in the welcoming committee.

By the way, what’s happening with Armarda Megatron? He was supposed to be wave 1 right? But pushed back, I remember reading that he was still due in stores in March? Are we going to see him tomorrow?
