Considering they made toys of Red Wing and Hauler recently, i think the "too obscure" excuse is BS.

 

don't forget that the really obscure characters seem to sell really well.

 

We know we’re getting a Devcon in mainline iirc… there’s no such thing as too obscure. Especially a seeker. I mean they could make a brand new seeker that’s only a slight variation on an existing one and it’d sell.

Idk if we’ll ever get a Sunstorm (I hope we at least get an ER Acid Storm as aside from the coneheads he’s the only one I care about and don’t have) but it’s not impossible. I hope they start doing one or two seeker releases a year through selects.

 

Also Galaxy Shutte and G2 Sandstorm before G1 Sandstorm.

 

I mean apparently Bmac is considering getting the purple seeker generic made, so they might be starting to do more seekers again

 

and i'd call those heneric seekers more obscure than sunstreaker by a mile

 

ain't no way they're doing "purple seeker #4" before sunstorm, nacelle, earth mode rainmakers or even action master thundercracker

 

And I bet they're going to use that Earthrise mold again, just to spite me.

 

Which is funny because the ER Seeker mold was allegedly damaged beyond repair according to some of the leakers because of how many times it was used (which is technically less times per specific tooling than the Siege Seeker mold was used).

 

really? if so then it must only be the normal starscream mold and not the coneheads, as ramjet and dirge are getting package refreshes

Oh that rumor was always BS, the ER mold wasn't used nearly as much as the Siege mold given there's different variations of the ER mold. The Starscream version was only used for 4 figures (Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp and Coronation Starscream)
