Oh that rumor was always BS, the ER mold wasn't used nearly as much as the Siege mold given there's different variations of the ER mold. The Starscream version was only used for 4 figures (Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp and Coronation Starscream)

Shattered Glass wave three is happening, and the MTG card set has four characters that have no toys yet, one of which is Thundercracker

No but he had a poll attached to it which after you vote you can see the percentages (also wise and smart move).

 

I'm pretty sure that person said it was the Siege mold, not the ER one, which makes more sense since it was used a lot more (but still seems a little fishy since I think it was around the time SG Starscream came out if not before?).

 

I don't remember who, but a "leaker" specifically said that the ER mold was no longer usable, just before Coronation Starscream released.

I’m basing my assumption off of the previous two SG waves, which both had five figures, and the fact that there are four SG Magic The Gathering cards of characters who don’t have toys yet

 

We don't know what it is, but we do have a Capsule line coming of 5 figures so maybe that's SG.

 

not that i wouldn't be down for another SG wave, but i think grimlock might just be a one-off, like the prime and ratchet 2-pack

 

well the two they made are, you know, redecoes of more popular guys

that's generally how more-obscure guys get made first -- they redeco somebody more popular into them

 

Sunstorm is a redeco of a more popular guy though

 

I hope so, I'm honestly getting sick of SG taking up all the slots that used to go to more interesting Selects releases. It feels like it's mostly either those or Diaclone repaints now. The only SG figure I care about getting is another Starscream if we get a new mold of his Cybertron design.

 

If we got a Cybertron Hot Shot, I hope they redo SG Goldbug with that mold.
