Oooh, never saw this image before, I can definitely see something like this happening now for Jetstorm from Armada Starscream.

 

Like I said earlier, the Japanese TF characters have been leaning more towards anime accuracy than IDW accuracy. Victory Saber, Deathsaurus, Minerva, and Lio Convoy/Leo Prime have all made their robot modes look more like their anime counterparts

Very exciting. Twincast was a given, but Metalhawk's a good time. And someone remind me, when was the last time a BBTS listing was how we discovered a product was real? Obviously JTPrime's listings are generally pretty reliable, but I can't actually remember a time BBTS was the first with a listing.

 

Having no attachment to the character I'll be interested whether he's Masterforce or IDW, shell based or inner bot based, I'm just looking forward to fun toy with a nice color scheme. So hopefully whichever way he goes, it's a fun design.

Armada Starscream was my #1 Transformer of the year last so I'd be happy if the speculation of him being a Starscream retool ends up correct.

 

I can see metalhawk being a jhiaxus retool too
