It’s a little squished or something but it’s not that terrible I feel.

 

@Jtprime17 and anyone else who knows things and stuffs, have you heard anything about this? whats the legitimatcy of it?

 

I hope that's not true because, as the self-proclaimed #1 Monstructor fan, I'm going to say it's disappointing that it won't have pretender shells.

 

dinoking was basically already confirmed by a hasbro rep i believe, so i won't be surprise by that, but monstructor?

 

I mean, same, but we've known this is how they're handling pretenders since Iguanus.

 

As much as I dislike when they remove gimmicks( minerva) I prefer this style for Pretenders. I do hope they make a shell style for the people who want them but I personally still just want the merged bots and shell designs.

The rest of the figure does that on it's own.

 

I've been saying Monstructor wouldn't surprise me. I've never heard of that podcast and they don't credit a source in those screenprints, so I'm taking it with a grain of salt.

 

I don’t have him but I was gonna say yeah, the headsculpt from what I’ve heard and seen of the figure is the least of its problems.

 

If I recall from what I saw this morning the source is 4chan. As if I know anything about monstructor, I don’t.

Ew. Monstructor should never be a Volcanicus repaint. Never. It works for Dinoking because it has the shell alt-modes, but Monstructor is not on the same part of that bridge.

On a somewhat more objective note, the rumour also somewhat contradicts itself by saying the alt-modes are coloured like the shells but combined mode is coloured half-and-half. The Dinoforce have brown shells for the arm bots and green shells for the leg bots. Unless that’s what they mean by half-and-half, but seeing as the only colour inaccuracy in combined mode they point out is the triceratops head, I’m uncertain.

Either way, hoping this is fake. I’d far prefer a Monstructor fully based on the inner robots that sizes up to regular combiners (which would also allow for a G1 accurate Dinoking repaint).

 

I wouldn't mind having both Monstructor and Dinoking as separate releases (Hope this means that they will be decently retooled from the Dinobots).

About Kingdom Rhinox, the transformation is a mess but fortunately is not a Kingdom Tracks mess where you feel that the figure is going to break at any moment. The toy itself though, has a pretty solid feel (MUCH more solid than the T30 figure that could fall off just by looking at it) and lots of articulation. Overall, while flawed and most likely the worst of the recent BW updates, it still is more of a side-step from the T30 toy.

 

Would you know anything about the release of Dinoking?

 

Not anything specific that I can talk about.

Monstructor kinda feels like an inevitability anyway. Only American G1 Combiner who's never had an update. Just hope he's not tiny.
