Now this is Pod Racing! I love the look of this lineup even if I don't want everything from it.

Excited to see Crasher because, depending on the design, she could also work as Aileron.

Velocitron Hot Rod has me wondering if it might another IDW homage in which case that'll be a must have!

Needlenose finally!!! This is gonna make me regret skipping Kingdom Tracks...

Really stoked to see Tarn getting an official mainline toy even if I already have the MMC DJD.

it's one of the best figures in the line it had some downsides tho the hands on him are so fragile and the main weapon is a shitty mechtech gun that cant lock in place

Lots of good stuff (and a couple of things I'll most likely leave on the shelf).

The W2 Velocitron leader...could be Overcharge or Toxitron. But I'm really hoping for Shining Magnus. Or with Crasher being there, go way left field and do Spay-C from Astrotrain...although I think I'd rather see Galaxy Shuttle. Armada Jetfire could also be an option but I think everyone would rather he be his own mold.

    But...Shining Magnus?! I hope so.

I highly suspect its IDW Hot Rod, esp given Tarn there. We’re also getting a few IDW figures like Blurr incoming.

oh man, if its one inspired by BWII, that’d be awesome!

It’d be rad of Hot Rod is IDW Hot Rod. Bonus points if he’s blue like Lost Light, that’s actually a repaint I want.

I just wouldn’t believe it. It’s been 13 long, long years since the show ended, and prematurely at that. So many good ideas never materialized, several good toys either only released in Japan or didn’t at all. The series has been almost entirely ignored by Hasbro (not by writers of new shows though who have regularly imported characters and paid homage), the last real Animated toy was Lugnut in 2010 aside from Bay Lockdown. Derrick is gone, his last opinion on the subject being he was reluctant to see new Generations figures because of how small they’ve become since 2009.

And yes, whatever new Animated toys would come, they’d be nothing like the ones of old. In the last year I finally collected the main cast after years and they are so radically different from modern toys. Add how Hasbro has done characters like Knock Out and there’s reason to be concerned. But new Animated figures, period is just something I won’t believe.

I would have liked a "Trailbreaker will always be more popular than you" but sadly this isn't a meme template.
Depending on the engineering we'll be able to do Cyberverse's missing arm ourselves.

    Indeed.
Still I think with Mark and Hasbro FINALLY acknowledging TFA I think we got more of a chance. It's more likely now than a year or two ago. Either way I'll keep asking for it till they give it to me.
Which is why I want new TFA figures. So they will be different, more modern, different details, new engineering and especially articulation.
I'm not really at all since again TFP's style is very complex and Bayverse-esk were as TFA's and the UT are more simplified and G1-ish so I expect them to be like Metroplex and Override.

Either IDC as long as they resemble the TFA designs I will live with it. Which is why the TFP figures don't bother me like some.

I guess I'm a the very model of a Geewunner. I remember the 1984 line. And have nostalgia for those characters. But I was always only ever lukewarm on the 86-and-after characters. From a pure design perspective, Armada Megatron and Tarn are far more interesting than Galvatron. I look forward to these.

I'm confused since I didn't buy it back in the day. I thought energon HS was the garbage one. Universe 2.0 always looked great to me (but again, I never owned it) so what was bad on that one? Jolt wasn't as good, but I liked all the windows, and it looked like a big step up in articulation.

If this Leader Armada Megatron is true and we then get a Commander Optimus, Leader Jetfire and Titan Tidal Wave... OH BOY

I would be so disappointed if an Overload didn't come out too at that point, but he's obviously way more obscure.

But we dyed in the wool G1’ers come in more than one model! OG G-1’er here, saw the original animated movie when it was making its first run in theaters, got my Transformers from Hechts and Hills (if anyone remembers those stores), etc, etc. Despite it being an apostasy, I always preferred Rodimus over Optimus. Frankly, I’m A-OK with ALL the 84-89 G1!

I might as well expect Crasher to be a repaint of Mirage.

    LD2 > maybe cybertron crumplezone?

Also, the fact that there are only 3 deluxe leaked in the main line implies maybe a fourth for combiner but if we have already known the name, at least 4 other characters would have been automatically leaked :p

With the way they're doing tank treads on figures I doubt it.

I never own him. But from what I heard from others is that :
The car kibble on his shoulder bumps together and cannot sit properly. it also hinders the arm articulation.
The transformation on him is also not very good. It is finicky, with the windshield, door, and roof pieces refusing to lock together and continually detaching from their proper position.
