Armada Jetfire has to accomodate plenty of electronics and one of the key gimmicks was storage spage. Removing those, today a Voyager could cut it... naah.
Jetpants prime could probably be smaller than Legacy Menasor. Its arms need to come from Optimus.

A few thoughts:
No combiner limbs, so maybe we're taking a break from that for the year, open up that commander spot for somebody else (Deathsaurus please & thank you).

Assuming we are getting 3 new leader molds this year, & the 2 revealed so far are Decepticons, that means the 3rd should be an Autobot. (I'm personally still pulling for G1 Octane, but doubtful).

 

As much as I love Armada toys, they are bricks. A modern one would be much more articulated.

Plus, I think Jetfire warrants being a leader class. So you coupd combine a Commander Optimus and a Leader Jetfire to get a decent combined mode. It won’t be the same height, but it will be better.

 

I mostly mentioned him since he mentioned Tidal wave (Megatrons partner) and Optimus. I don't expect a commander toy at all. I feel like either a voyager or more so a leader.

Which Marks comments on Thursday I'm 95% certain we probably will.

 

hoping hot shot is from UT cybertron it would really be a good companion piece with override and im hoping Velocitron hot rod is idw based either mtmte or 2009 run would be godly. But the biggest figure im excited for is skyquake that\'s one of the best desgins from prime and hell they\'ll repaint him to dreadwing.

 

Having missed out on Prime Skyquake, im hoping this one is just as good. Very excited for him and Leo Prime

It’s hard for me not to tear up at this news. If we can get Optimus, Jetfire, and Tidal Wave, my life will be complete.

 

We probably will at this rate. If we ignore the core class figures, there are only 2 G1 characters leaked so far and they are only Deluxe figures. We got UT, Prime, either IDW1 or cyberverse, Japanese BW, possible animated with hot shot, and freaking GoBots. If this is what next year is like, what the hell is the 40th anniversary line going to look like?

 

I am, just recently watched Beast Wars Second so I'll be well pleased to have a Lio Convoy.

 

Indeed especially with Mark mentioning TFA and that they didn't forget about them (the UT as well).

My guess it's either Armada or Cybertron.

That will be interesting to see.

 

Now this is Pod Racing! I love the look of this lineup even if I don't want everything from it.

Excited to see Crasher because, depending on the design, she could also work as Aileron.

Velocitron Hot Rod has me wondering if it might another IDW homage in which case that'll be a must have!

Really stoked to see Tarn getting an official mainline toy even if I already have the MMC DJD.

 

it's one of the best figures in the line it had some downsides tho the hands on him are so fragile and the main weapon is a shitty mechtech gun that cant lock in place

 

Lots of good stuff (and a couple of things I'll most likely leave on the shelf).

The W2 Velocitron leader...could be Overcharge or Toxitron. But I'm really hoping for Shining Magnus. Or with Crasher being there, go way left field and do Spay-C from Astrotrain...although I think I'd rather see Galaxy Shuttle. Armada Jetfire could also be an option but I think everyone would rather he be his own mold.

But...Shining Magnus?! I hope so.

I highly suspect its IDW Hot Rod, esp given Tarn there. We’re also getting a few IDW figures like Blurr incoming.
