I’m starting to have my doubts on deathsaurus being the next commander even if I really want it to be him. I just feel like there’s too many decepticons rn and I feel like they gotta put an autobot somewhere.

As for mini bots my two most wanted rn are brawn & powerglide, I do eventually want beachcomber & seaspray even though I think they had pretty solid figures in TR & POTP. But I also think splitting them between legacy & ss86 is a good idea.

Another odd late g1 character would be cool. Maybe they do circuit or a new krok especially since they’ve been quietly building up an action master collection recently.

I’d also be down for an electro that doesn’t crumble to bits lol

 

As an observation for shelf/head-canon, I'm not a fan of the monster faces of the Beyverse, but I am a fan of the work that Studio Series does. To me, that new HotRod would be an excellent Vehicon.

When the voyager Jhiaxus came out, I was (and still am) surprised that they're making such an homage to a relatively obscure G2 character. But I have to think the excellent engineering in that toy is bound to be repurposed again and again.

 

I know, but they're both dark blue Decepticon aircraft named Dreadwing. They're too similar for me to reconcile them as different characters in a collection.

 

I could totally see that. My thoughts ran originally to the battlechargers, but you're right, a G1 style Hot Rod based Vehicon would have a bit more heft on them and be a little more imposing.

 

I only found & got TFP Dreadwing a decade ago. I don't see much wrong with it today. The only changes I want in a new Skyquake/Dreadwing is 1) screen accurate weapon, 2) better articulation and 3) hide the fists in alt mode. I'll get Legacy Skyquake, but I wonder if it's worth double-dipping on a leader class/price figure as replacement for Dreadwing.

We really need a new TFP Ratchet & the Prowl/Smokescreen mold.

I'm thinking of doubling up on core Slag to custom into a Knockdown and Grimlock to custom into something like a Slash to go with the SS86 Dinobots. I'm already getting a SS86 Sludge to do as Paddles so they'd be nice little shelf fillers.

Hot Shot (assuming it's armada)
Junkion (depending on what they are)

Nemesis Leo (if the mould is good overall)
Skyquake & Dreadwing (if the mould is good overall)
Override PR (more likely to be discounted or easier to find)

I hope/expect there will be more armada characters in the missing 9 deluxes that we don't know of - hoping for a new red alert & demolishor.

 

Is this the same size as the original released Prime Skyquake? I don\'t remember it being qualified as leader class, was thinking it was voyager class.

I feel like with the anniversary for Armada also being next year there’s gotta be some other Armada figures/figure coming.

He absolutely does, hopefully they can get him in the 2024 line.

We knew about Motormaster since at least April of last year if not earlier, but it shouldn't be too much longer now.

 

In a perfect world, we would be getting Studio Series interpretations of the Prime characters. At least in a limited run to test for demand. Thought Pulse's Hades Megatron and Breakdown would lead to that but instead we got whatever Arcee is.
