Legacy Year 2 Wave 1. Or whatever new name they might have for it next year

 

Combiners every other year isn't actually a bad idea. As much as I dislike Combiner wars I wouldn't mind waiting a year for better combiner. especially if after they finish the g1 combiners they start to to the other continuities combiners. I love how diverse the line up is. This is how legacy should've been from the start. Although I do want to finish off S1-3 g1 cast soon.

 

Wasn't Dead End or Breakdown supposed to be a wave 4 character? If this is wave 4, then there ya go.

 

Voyager hot rod makes everything 1000x more credible.

Some really cool announcements here. I'm really hoping Skyquake is the G2 version and not the Prime version. I owned the original toy as a kid and I was always disappointed at how pathetic its transformation was, so I'd welcome an updated version with better design. Some Hot Shot love here, but I still enjoy my Henkei figure so I doubt I'll replace it. Needlenose is the one I'm looking forward to. If Hasbro include his Targetmasters (unlike Spinister), this could be a hot seller.  

PS. Still no listings for Dead End and Breakdown? Remember when combiner teams were released together?

Gonna guess the Velocitron Hot Rod isn't going to be magenta rod, but rather more like Blurr where they remold his faux chest, shoulders, head, and the surface detailing they can get away with, to give him a look to evoke his appearance in MTMTE and for the leader I'm gonna guess they'll be a remold or repaint of some figure we don't have a listing for yet, possibly something from wave 2? Could be another Decepticon since it seems Hot Rod will be the only autobot and Scourge was the only decepticon of wave 1 so it could be a switch up in that regard, but it could also be an autobot for similar reasons

 

Uhhh... we've already had all the listings for this year leak. Dead End is in deluxe wave 3 along with Sureshot, Crankcase, and an "Energon Monster" (whatever that ends up being) and Breakdown is the only new figure in deluxe wave 4 with the other deluxes being package refreshes of Wheeljack and Cheetor.

dead end and breakdown listings happened quite a bit ago. dead end is wave 3 and breakdown is wave 4

 

Some neat ideas in there, but strangely unless there are some really charming redux figures, I think I am at 3 deluxes and maybe the hotrod (depending on what they do with the mold). The small dinos are a maybe even though I have steered away from much of the core class. I was more excited until someone made a good point earlier that they would rather see more pretenders in that class, which I agree with

 

Yes, but that was a leaked list and not necessarily accurate. There was no mention of Needlenose or Tarn in it for example. With these screenshots being product listing for Hasbro toys, I expected to see Breakdown and Dead End among them.

 

Why? Tarn and Needlenose aren't this year. Jtprime17 clearly states in his post that they are the first wave of year 2 of Legacy. Meaning they'll be coming out after year 1 wave 4.
