Martini Racing decals are an absolute MUST for 86 Jazz. Getting the decals for that alone.

does anyone know if this pack will have it's components released seperately at some point? this is great value and all but I'm only really interested in the idea of a jazz figure that will actually last on my shelf.

Seeing as most of these are already just minorly altered versions of existing figures, I doubt these will be released again in this exact form.

I'm impressed that they actually put paint on the back of Hounds windscreen.

I honestly expected them not to.

My Legacy United Hound is finally ready to replace Universe Hound. The Jeep grill makes a big difference for me. I wished I could position the seat further back but it would mess with waist articulation. Thanks Universe Hound for your 15 years of service. Thanks for mentioning it, GS has them in stock, so I was able to cancel my BBTS PO.

Has anyone else gotten their pack from Pulse? Mine showed up today with no notification from Hasbro that it even shipped.

Thank you for the image comparing Universe and Legacy Hound. I was torn but ultimately decided to keep my Universe Hound, at least for now. I have two questions though:

    1) Which upgrades have you installed on your Universe Hound? I'm referring in particular to the bumper and the missile launcher mount.

    2) Where do those foldable seats for Legacy Hound come from?

Fuck, I’m genuinely conflicted on this 5 pack. I have all these bots from Siege/Earthrise/86 already. I found this at a Gamestop today and bought it, but when I opened it up I wasn’t really bowled over. But then those toyhax decals really do make them look good… Do I just sell the thing? Have a long hard sit and compare, then try to sell whichever ones I don’t pick? Wish Hasbro would’ve just rereleased the ones folks missed, it’d be a very easy call for me then.

You can download the free file from Cult3D

Jeep front for Transformers Legacy Detritus or Studio Series 86 Hound

Huge credit to Jaboramekin making the file and giving it to everyone for free. My advice is if you’re using a resin printer, scale the height of the grill down to 18mm otherwise you’ll have to file about 1-1.5mm off top, bottom and sides of the grill. Also decrease the depth to 2-2.5mm. Even then you’ll have to shave the tow wench to fit on the bumper. I used MeshMixer which is free software.

    1. I grill was cut from a Diecast of a Fast and Furious Jeep. I think there are diecast Jeep from Walgreen or CVS for around $6. The mount came from a Lego stow ladder clip that I cut out and bonded it to the launcher.

    2. the seat came from the diecast Jeep. I cut it and added a brass hinge. I filled in the back and part of the gap with putty to smooth it out. I imagine someone like DNA or NonNef will release upgraded seats or 3D files with a pin for folding the seats but Hound was one of my favorite character so I didn't want to wait.

They look so good I didn't realise it was a custom, I thought they were upgrade kits I knew nothing about. Impressive work indeed!

I'm worried that this is apparently not selling well. I was hoping we could get more of these "premium finish" multipacks for the Legacy G1 figures.

It's an expensive set imo. Most of us have at least 3 if not 4 of the molds. The packaging isn't that exciting. Its a bit bland tbh.

I have 4 our of 5 figures. Not sure the deco and hound are worth it.

Is it not selling well? I truly don't know. BUT, if it isn't, it's tic against investing in yet another instance of what seems to be a "same again but slightly even more accurate this time!" sales strategy for mold-milking.
