People talking about Buzzsaw again makes me really try to think what combination of cassettes could get us the whole line up with as few repeats as possible.

Because the black wings on the Laserbeak mold are gangmolded to ravages's black, we could get a Sundor and Stripes set.

The only thing I can think of for Buzzsaw is another ravage, since he still needs the black.

I really want an Enemy, but other than SG Ratbat I either his batman or 'Bruce Wayne' colors, I can't think of who they could pack Enemy with.

Garboil and Howlback are obviously compatible. But Glit, I can't think of a laserbeak recolor with the white in the correct spot.

 

Maybe do Shattered Glass Ravage/Laserbeak and just repurpose Ravage as Glit?

 

I guess that works, SG Laserbeak is usually depicted with red wings but I guess there's really no problem molding them in red and just painting the circuit detailing in red.

 

Not sure about oil slick being a ratchet redeco, I’ve always liked him as either the motorcycle or the sports car from the UT trilogy.

 

The Ravage mold can be Howlback.

 

OR they could just paint over the white wings (from Glit) with all black.

But then who'd Garboil go to?

 

Well, if it’s a four-pack, Glit could be included.

Selects figures revealed last year on Transformers Tuesdays. I was really hoping for more cassettes. I still am but don't find it very likely.

 

The price-point/size-class was confusing to me at the time, but I didn't want to question the validity of the source at the time. And now that it has been clarified that two different product numbers are in play here, it is more likely that someone entering the codenames in that retailer's computer has got one of the codenames wrong (causing a duplication of codenames).
After all, it wouldn't be a good idea for Hasbro to re-use codenames, as it would be confusing to line up the real names later.

I can't say anything specific, but the product number with the Deluxe price-point, might just have a different US state as its codename.
You certainly have plenty of them to get mixed up or forgotten.

For a Buzzsaw pack-in, you could give Ravage a new head and turn him into Steeljaw. Glit could be packed with Zangetsu. I know it’s bit of a stretch, but he’s the only white bird I can think of.
