im trying to find a list of all the idw transformers with comic accurate/near comic accurate toys, does any1 know where i can find one? or can someone help me make 1? btw i have not read much of any o the tf comics, i have started but i just really like their designs. so i will be asking questions base on the figures...
If you type your question into google, you get the answer. And it's already on here. ;-) All IDW comic accurate toys, whether they originally derived from the IDW universe or not. It's pretty random and actually a lot of work Almost every toy since classics / universe has appeared at some point or another and some characters have had 4 or 5 bodies Also a lot of older toys from armade, energon and even prime have made cameos And what about somebody like legends tailgate whose robot mode is IDW unspired but the car mode is all wrong?
Both. Starscream held the WFC/FOC body from issues #1 to #18 in RID, and took up the Armada body in Dark Cybertron #1 to the present, but his body will very likely be changing to his new Leader Class body sometime during the Combiner Wars event.
I havent looked at any list but figures like Skids/Crosscut, Takara Windblade, Chromia, Tailgate (bot mode) and Swerve (bot mode) are pretty IDW accurate. Hasbro where they can usually give bots earth modes rather then Cybertronian but there are of course exceptions. We are also getting the Leader Ultra Magnus which is very much straight out of IDW with the Minimus Ambus figure.
Combiner Wars Leader Megatron is pretty close to the current MTMTE Megatron. Still waiting on a decent Rodimus.
Only insomuch as they're both based on G1 Megatron. The Leader figures takes all its specific design cues from Megatron's G1 animation model. Much more detailed, certainly, but has a couple of inaccuracies, (Orion Pax and Deluxe Bumblebee's vehicle modes are original Hasbro designs) and missing the odd figure (like Dropshot).
Well, the Orion Pax is nitpicking seeing as he never transformed until the Spotlight (in which he used the alt mode of the toy) but I have corrected the Bumblebee entry. Dropshot does need to be added, I totally forgot him. Any others I've missed?
