I just got paid for this item even though I closed the case 9 days ago. They shouldn't have been able to pay. How?

Maybe he sent payment before it closed and only showed up now?

I would call eBay tech support, and see if they can figure that out.

I wonder why this isn't a sticky too. Certainly seems like a thread a lot of people would reference.

 

Don't know but I asked if it could become a sticky thread and one of the mods said "There's no interest from the staff in making that a sticky thread"

 

I got my response from one of the admins, and they felt that they would rather stick to separate threads for bad eBay buyers and bad eBay sellers, with the latter being stickied.

With that in mind, I will continue to do what I do, and is update the main list around the 1st of every month. Thanks to all who supported the idea for a new all-encompassing thread.

Maybe in the future it'll happen.

Going forward, please continue to post HERE for bad eBay sellers, and please post in this thread for bad ebay buyers.

Won an auction for a TFTM Voyager Optimus Prime, over a week since I sent invoice and buyer has not paid. eBay automatically escalated it to a claim, which means there is likely a red flag on that user.

Here's one to add to the list. I was stupid in dealing with this buyer but there's no reason anyone else should fall foul of him. MSWC223, bought 2 headmasters off me and claimed he never recieved them (specified he only wanted normal airmail shipping as otherwise he wouldn't recieve them through the chinese postal service), opened a paypal case, got cash back and also kept items. His feedbacks marked as private which in hindsight should have rung alarm bells, but seeing as I'm new to eBay it's been a valueble if expensive lesson

 

The airmail didn't have tracking? Also for future reference ALWAYS get one of the higher priced shipping options be cause they usually have tracking(USPS Priority International, FedEx, UPS, etc)

Seems to be active by paying for other recent auction wins, yet for some reason has not paid for mine. Filed an unpaid item claim.

Got this answer finally:

Filed eBay unpaid item claim.

What the hell is going on? it's almost every other week I file another unpaid buyer claim.

He bought my Predaking gift set after trying to convince me to do free shipping which I refused. It's a big, heavy box. He pestered before and after the sale with tons of emails.
Now he gets it and demands a partial refund claiming broken figures. He elevated it to a full blown case before even speaking with me about it.

Ebay has told him to send it back to me for e full refund and I expect to find a box of his old broken figures inside. This is nuts...
