hi there,

I have finally finished my custom liokaiser transformer, here is a bit about him, he is 16 inches tall and
is one of the most complex customs i have ever made, he is designed to fit perfectly in scale next to
the classics / henkei / generations line.

liokaiser is extremely articulated and here is a list of his articulation
- main head is ball jointed
-shoulders are very posable, 360 degrees as well as tilting up and down
-elbows bend
-upper arms rotate
-wrist is ball jointed
-hands are extremely posable whith each finger being balljointed as well as a second pin joint
-waist rotates 360 degrees
-hips are highly articulated swinging in and out as well as back and forward, ratcheted joints too.
-knees are posable
-lower leg pivots
-ankle pivots to provide dynamic posing too
-and his hip armor also swings in and out to allow dynamic leg posing.

liokaisers head was completely scratchbuilt too as was his spiked handheld weapon and his gun (which is formed by combining jarugas
missile rack and killbisons turret just like the gen one toy) he also has lots of other scrathbuilt parts like his thigh and hip parts etc

It goes without saying that liokaiser is completely transformable and can seperate into his 6 vehicles and all the individual robots transform without having to take away parts or add parts on (they are NOT partformers)


DEATHCOBRA: in addition to the six regular members of the team i have also created a death cobra figure, he transforms
into a green helicopter and although he was only in one episode of the series and he never actually combined with the team
(as he was murdered by hellbat) i thought why not add him to the line up. he can also transform and become liokaisers arm which
replaces hellbat. he is fully transformable and can combine with the other members as seen in the pictures.

Fantastic custom, you really did the character justice. That and the fact I just love Leokaiser.

 

Awesome. The only picky thing I don't like are the two lower limbs facing sideways. I don't know this character but I like the limbs facing forward. I do love what you did with both Perceptor figures. They look awesome in both modes.

 

Very cool and original bro'. Definitely diggin this bot(s) and I'm not even familiar with the character. 

 

the original has both legs facing sideways too, its a very recognizable part of the character in both the toy and the cartoon which is why i did it that way. not too many people are familiar with the big guy i guess   glad you like the perceptors though, it took alot of cutting to get them to do that

I'm so speechless. Never thought of seeing custom Liokaiser. Exellent head sculpture and choice of robots used. Fantastic paint works too. Just awesome!

This is fantastic!!

The real standout for me is Drillhorn a serious stroke of genius using Perceptor & huge props for making a deathcobra!also what kibble there is has been very well hidden.

Congrats dude this is a wonderfull peice,makes me wanna dig mine out & finish him.

You say they're not partformers. How do Guyhawk and Hellbat become arms, then? It doesn't seem possible without splitting them in half and putting the bicep in between.

That said, I like what you've done here, particular how you've used Perceptor. I'm a big fan of custom combiners that are all articulate and shit, so this tickles me greatly. Awesome stuff!

I totally agree! You did a kick-ass job with both Drillhorn & Killbison. & Deathcobra! & all the other guys too!   Without a doubt that would have to be the best custom Liokaiser ever created. Ever. Mate that is a f#ck'n ripper!

This is awesome & I love the fact u made all 7 members & gave the option to go with Hellbat, Gaihawk, or Deathcobra as a arm, GENIUS! This is INCREDIBLY FANTASTIC! Are you going to sell this & for how much?
