Never watch Beast Wars 2nd & Neo. Primal's transforms into a gorilla but he can get to places fast cause he can fly with his jet pack on his back. What kind of powers or abilities do Lio & Big Convoy have? Can they fly or do anything else?
So Optimus Primal doesn't really have a power moreso than a jetpack fitted into his structure. Lio Convoy, on the other hand, has at different times had really weird powers or power boosts a la Anime. Hard to explain.
Big Convoy has flight via his front beast mode leg having thrusters in them, sufficient to fly in space with ease. Hip mounted miniguns, calf mounted boomerang like slicing projectiles, shoulder mounted missile spam launchers. Then the Big Cannon, which is very powerful. Then he's got a Matrix, which can sometimes talk through him and in the final episode plays a pivotal role. His beast mode is highly temperature resistant, both against cold and heat. He's also very tough. There's a reason he's called the One Man Army; in the opening of BWII he takes out an entire enemy base on an asteroid single handedly and blows it up, walking away undamaged. Lio Convoy has the buzzsaw on his shoulder that is the lion mane. Beyond that, it can get weird.
